Consulate General of Romania in Toronto

Unbelievably helpful and professional staff! My expectations were blown away today when I walked in. I did not have an appointment, however, they took me in extremely fast, answered all my questions and solved all the issues on the spot. It felt unreal. Definitely not a typical consulate experience. They offer top service which I am extremely grateful for. God bless them and I hope they’ll keep this up!

Every time i had to deal with this establishment , i wanted to pull my hair out. And again today , they didn't disappoint. You cannot reach anyone, the phone service is useless , the touch selection doesn't work, so you can't speak with anyone. I guess its Monday, they must have had a terrible weekend. I wonder when is this attitude going to change, so we can feel like these people that are suppose to serve and help us, will do just that ?

No waiting time. Very respectful and professionally staff. Short and concise. Lots of parking and not expensive.

I used the Services of the Romanian Consulate from Toronto three times within the last year.Today again; Let me state that with no doubt, they exceeded my expectations! again and again!!!From the booking of the appointment, which is done on Internet - very clear and helpful, I would say USER FRIENDLY! - took not more than a week to obtain the appointment.The fact that everything went perfect is just due to the VERY HIGH level of PROFESSIONALISM which the public servants from the Romanian Consulate Toronto displayed during our visit;My wife and I were very impressed about their knowledge and willingness to assist us, and for sure to do the things RIGHT.A year ago when we were there for similar documents, we were able to use those documents successfully, and we did not have any issue when we presented the signed power of attorneys to the Romanian Institutions from Romania.Today was absolutely the same: we downloaded a draft of some of the documents, and at the Consulate, the Consul in Person, Ms. Gherghe, read and analyzed the legality of the draft. She advised us in a very logical manner about the best way to do everything. We found at the Romanian Consulate from Toronto VERY PROFESSIONAL and KNOWLEADGEABLE personnel. They clearly showed us that they are there to SERVE US in a GOOD FAITH and by respecting the Romanian legislation. In this manner, they raised clearly the CONFIDENCE in the PRODUCTS and SERVICES of the Romanian Consulate from Toronto. It was a very nice experience and we cannot be more pleased about their OUTSTANDING KIND and ATTENTIVE assistance. Many THANKS! We are very grateful for the outstanding good service which the Consulate personnel offered us again and again.

There are only 5 stars we can give BUT if we could, we would give more. It was a very pleasant experience today at the consulate, we got undivided attention, despite the fact that our confirmed appointment was not on the list the receptionist had for the day. Our matter was solved in a timely manner, we won't need to return for a 2nd visit. Felicitari!!!

My experience in renewing my passport today was way above expectations. I cannot express how impressed i was with the professionalism, politeness and punctuality that the consular staff shown today (and most probably every day). I had a complete different experience 5 years ago in Ottawa so i had my expectatons addapted to a classic" approach.Luckily things have improved considerably and in a very good way!I do seelots of 5* ratings and i totally agree. Congrats to the staff for providing a very professional service."

Very pleasantly surprised! The office is well organized and professional and even had some toys for my kids to play with while we waited. The staff is very nice and polite and everything goes very smoothly especially if you come prepared with all necessary documents.

An excellent team of professionals! Efficient, knowledgeable, courteous (!) , proud of them to represent Romania! Also, kudos for a totally workable website. Accessible, up-to-date and able to get a fast response with an appointment. After many years I had to visit the Romanian Consulate for various things such as CNP, passport and more. I am impressed by the friendly and knowledgeable personnel.5 star ratting from me!
