Yoga In My School

I have taken many trainings with Donna and also worked with her as a studio owner organizing trainings in Chilliwack B.C. I first found Yoga In My School online, and I was so excited to work with Donna in person. She is a generous teacher and mentor. Through her leadership I feel confident sharing yoga with children of all ages. Donna goes above and beyond in all she does. She is a deep well of knowledge and her passion for yoga shines brilliantly in every course she offers.Thank you Donna for inspiring me on the path of kids yoga, it has lead to so much Joy and I will always be grateful.

the Trauma Informed Yoga & Mindfulness course was well organized and very informative! The knowledge I acquired from this course has changed the way I interact with individuals in a yoga setting and also in my day to day work life as a pediatric physiotherapist. I highly recommend this training!

I took the Yoga In my School course on a weekend with Donna Freeman. As a yoga practitioner already I didn't expect to learn a lot. In reality I learned tons! I came away from the course with a ton of useful lesson plans, resources and activities to do with my students. Since taking the course I have been able to apply what I learned in my elementary classroom and my students really enjoy doing yoga and practicing mindfulness.

I took a weekend long training session to learn how to teach yoga to children to help me with my yoga teaching certification through the Yoga Association of Alberta (YAA). Donna is an amazing instructor and I walked away with the skills and confidence I needed. I would recommend Yoga In My School to any yoga teachers for training and to anyone looking for an instructor for children.

This teacher training certification was packed full of so many useful and tangible activities, resources and advice. From forming lesson plans to how to structure a yoga business. I would highly recommend this teacher program for individuals wanting to learn more about yoga and apply it to their communities.

I recently completed the RCYT training with Donna. The training exceeded my expectations and transformed my teaching with students in Junior and Senior High. Donna offers a wealth of experience and knowledge and has designed a course which created the opportunity for me to learn from a diverse group of teachers who are experts in their field. As a special education teacher, the highlight for me was the special education component. With the practical skills I have acquired, my students are loving coming to yoga class and are gaining physical skills, but also social, emotional, and communication skills. This course has prepared me to offer classes which are fun, recognize the developmental age and stage of the child and adapt to the setting and the abilities of the children. I would highly recommend this program!

Donna is the most caring, openhearted and knowledgeable person to teach and share her wisdom of Kids Yoga. She shares her resources, her stories and sets her students up to succeed and have fun too!
