The property manager, Tracy Carothers, is a nightmare to deal with. She is rude, unprofessional, and completely unhelpful when you need anything.

Bayside Property is definitely one of the worst strata agencies i have dealt with in my residential building, 2968 Glen Drive in Coquitlam, B.C. To begin, their management, especially Cindy Long is extremely unprofessional as i have been in contact with her for 3 months now in regards to my vehicle they towed from my parking spot in the building while i was on a informed trip to the manager for a family emergency that had occurred. I had been out of town for 4 months and out of those 4 months my car was sitting at the towing lot for 3 months without any information provided to me. I am a student, and because of this lack of due diligence of the property manager that was hired by this strata agency, i had to pay $5000 out of my own pocket which i saved up for my university fees in towing lot charges to release my vehicle. When i disputed this case with Cindy Long, she showed minimal responsibility to take action towards this case, knowing and seeing that i am not at fault for what had happened.It has been 3 months now since i have been in dispute with this strata agency and Cindy Long who is the strata manager at my residential building in Coquitlam and there had been no action taken towards this issue. Along with that, the maintenance services that have been required for the building have been completely disregarded by this agency as one out of the two elevators in the building have been out of operation for the past 2 months now, and along with that all our parkings and its flooring haven't been cleaned in months now which depreciates the look of how our building looks. That being said, with all the explanation provided, this is by far the most unprofessional strata agency i have ever dealt with living 8 years in this building so far.

For quite a few years now we feel that we've had a very good rapport with Candace, property manager at Bayside. We can call on her with any concern without hesitation. As soon as we contact her with any concern she is on it. We appreciate having a person like her available to keep things running smoothley for us here.

This strata management company is the worst I have ever dealt with. The property manager lacks basic communication skills and uses an unfriendly tone in all emails.

I have been in residence at one of the properties that bayside provides services to. I have had very real, professional and friendly interactions with each member that I've been in contact with. I would like to put forward a great thank to Candace Turner for her loyal dedication for the past many years.Candace's knowledge of the bylaws and guidlines as well as our property is outstanding. There has been many political and conflicting issues among the owners and Candace has gond beyond her job in mediating many difficult meetings. These five stars are as much for her as bayside.

Upon reading other reviews of Bayside I have come to discover, all be it there are some good reviews, but a high percentage are not. I have only been dealing with them for 2 years and can say none of my dealings have been pleasant.I found it interesting that a lot of the response from Bayside started off with “we can’t find your name in any of the properties we manage” and the response was to contact the managing broker Allen Regan. My question would be… Re. “we can’t find you” why would anyone waste their time on a review of a complex that they didn’t live in, the Bayside stock answer sounds like a cop out to me.I believe the service we are getting at our town house complex is poor due to complacency and inefficiency.Many reviewers have named property managers that are doing a poor job, ours “Mike Britten” being no exception. I would think with the many bad reviews I have read, and the managers being called out by name that upper management or the owners of Bayside would be taking notice and stepping up their game. To end my review I will remind Bayside that they seem to have lost sight of the fact that they work for us. Efficient and prompt service is a contractual obligation not something you get a choice in doing, and everyone can be replaced.

I was on our strata council at Carriage Lane in Surrey for a few years. Our manager, Candace, had such a thorough knowledge of bylaws and a deep memory of our strata’s history, that our job would have been impossible without her. I’ve had experience with one other management company, and they don’t compare at all to Bayside. I highly recommend Bayside and Candace for property management.

The property manager is unprofessional and just plain rude. If you dare to inquire about anything, they'll treat you like you're wasting their time.

Unfortunately, I had a very horrible experience with Tara Hooge as our strata manager. As a member of the strata council, I was hopeful she would be the positive change our community needed. I was sadly mistaken. She allowed her personal relationships to impact her work and breached confidentiality on more than one occasion. She made decisions without clear direction from the council and was abrasive when challenged on it. It’s possible that the rest of Bayside is absolutely fabulous to work with, but you may want to reconsider working with Tara.

Look at all the terrible reviews. No surprise. The treatment I received from this property management, specifically from Percy Lee, is disgusting. I reached out to Bayside to request painting the unit that required this repair. He denied the request stating the suite had recently been renovated. The bathroom and kitchen have been; however, as I tried to explain to him, the walls were not. The painting that was done in the unit previously was not done by a professional and was therefore very poorly done. This is where things really turned. When I tried to explain to him that the paint job was botched, his response was to retaliate by emailing me the night before my move (less than 20 hours) that he will be charging me daily if I move in 5 days before the 1st of the month, even though the suite was vacant. This is not the arrangement I had with the building manager. In fact, I specifically asked the building manager if it’s okay to move in before the 1st… and it’s typical for tenants to move in a few days before the 1st of the month. This grace period ensures flexibility to move on weekends instead of the middle of the work week. So due to this miscommunication between the property management and the building manager, I incurred financial damages b/c I had to cancel my movers and internet set-up and furniture delivery. The worst part was there was no accountability that this error made by their team impacted the tenant and caused so much stress.
