We have hired JD Paving Stone to do work at two of our houses. In the first house (built in 1928) JD did significant paving stonework, and some cement work, when we were re-landscaping the backyard. In 2020 we built a new house next door to our old house. After receiving three price quotes, we hired JD as our paving stone contractor and landscaper. The backyard landscaping was significant and complicated – turf, sod, patio, retaining walls, weeping tile. It was completed on time and done very well – see below. In 2021 we hired JD (without seeking other price quotes) to install a paving stone front yard parking spot and to reposition and add stones in the backyard. JD also installed a concrete driveway into the front yard.As mentioned, when we required landscaping for our new house in 2020, we sought three price quotes. All three were comparable in price. Because of our previous positive experience, we again hired JD.We can fully attest to the high-quality work done by JD. Jeremy is a perfectionist, and he ensures that all levels, grading and drainage issues are dealt with. In addition, he made numerous excellent suggestions and recognized a major grading error by one of the building subcontractors that had to be rectified. Because it was a new house, we expected some subsiding of the paving stones as the ground settled.
