The Giddy Goat is the most amazing cafe' around. Baked goods,coffee,teas truly incredible. Food,well...delish!!If you haven't been you don't know what your missing. Staff are welcoming,very professional, the cafe' is spotless!!!

Love this cafe. They have a tiny table where my three y.o can sit with a few toys! The coffee is really good, and the cakes/treats always taste fresh + are delicious. I will be returning many times!

The Giddy Goat Cafe
We were heading from Kingston to Belleville and scouting out places to go for lunch. Amherstview...never been there and only 16 minutes away.A delightful little Cafe. Prices are reasonable. Had a small (1 cup) cream of potato/bacon soup with a homemade bun. Was certainly sufficient for lunch. 4 tables only so it's a small, intimate place. Seems to do a good takeout business. People all seem to know each other and everyone was super friendly.Washroom well attended and large.All in all an excellent experience. If I was a local I'd likely pop in often. As someone from away it was a short, pretty drive in nice weather so a good break from the City. Stop by...recommended.

The Giddy Goat Cafe
Sometimes I stumble upon restaurants that capture my heart the moment I walk into them. Today was one of those moments, from the atmosphere to the lovely staff to the fantastic baked goods. This coffee shop is one of my new favourite places. It's the kind of place where you walk in, and you instantly feel at home and like a regular.

Delightful in every way! This is the perfect spot for fresh, beautiful food, lovely baked goods, great coffee, all served up in a truly inviting atmosphere. The owners are such friendly and genuinely nice people who really make this cafe the absolute right place to call your favourite. There were so many regular customers coming in to pick up orders and all were warmly greeted by name. That speaks volumes about any establishment and this one is a true gem. My compliments on everything including their attention to cleanliness. Well done Giddy Goat!! Next visit I will take photos to share of the amazing eats there.

Lovely staff, good food!However I have been disappointed at the fact that their baked goods (though delicious!) are never ready until later in the mornings. Was excited to have a local place to run in and grab a coffee and treat on my way to work but even at 9:30 am (past the average time of people's morning commute) their muffins and scones are often not yet available. I believe they could benefit by bringing a staff member in earlier to start the baking so that can catch that morning rush". I know they'd have my business!"

I’ve found my new favorite cafe in Kingston! This place is delightfully quaint, cozy, charming, with first-rate customer service. And that’s before I can even mention the food! The coffee is rich with a robust flavor. The chai tea latte is pure goodness. I’ve heard (and can’t wait to try!) the London Fog is the best in the city hands down. There is a wide assortment of baked goods, and the ones I’ve tried so far (blueberry scone, chai loaf, and lemon loaf) are moist with just the right amount of sweetness and so delicious. I was pleasantly surprised to see non-dairy milk options (almond and oat) available at no extra cost at the DIY condiment counter. This cafe is such a winner and I can’t wait to go back! Highly recommended for both Kingston area residents and visitors from afar who want to support a local business that is truly worth supporting!
