I go in for lane swimming in the morning. All the facilities are great, but they have poor management. Lane swimming is supposed to start at 7:30 am from Monday to Friday. But Tuesday is the only day they open it on time. On the other days they have a high school and another group coming in earlier and when they leave the staff delays in moving the bulkhead, its almost 10-15 mins late. I find this annoying because I have to start work later and cannot wait endlessly to complete my laps. If the management picks up their act, the facility is worth 5 stars.

Good only for its larger pools, but compared to virtually every other of the 6 total pools we've tried in the gta, it has easily the oldest facilities, worst (almost nonexistent) family change rooms, was the most crowded, and had the coldest, dirtiest water I've ever seen. I was constantly picking out hair strands off my face and fingers. The other deficiencies were just unpleasant, but the filth in the water is a deal breaker. No thanks. Not coming back again

This place stinks of cholrine. The washrooms are old and dirty. You have to pay for the parking across the street. The instructor teaching penguin swimming 1 is not friendly with the kids. I didn't find his teachings any good. Doesn't seem to enjoy teaching. I wouldn't take my kids here for the next season.

We have been a couple of times since moving to the area, love the swimming pool and centre. It's amazing for my girls to see a proper size swimming pool, and it's a fun place, lots of room for everyone. I am disappointed that the water slide has not been able to be used as they have had staffing shortages. I totally understand and respect the situation, however it's been over 2 weeks between visits and it seems it's not going to be resolved in the near future. It's obviously what makes it stand out compared to other city pools. Staff are helpful and friendly. The last weekend on Saturday we saw some other guests have items stolen from the women's change room, even though their belongings had locks. When returning from the pool, the locks had just 'disappeared' with no trace and some valuable items (wallet) taken. Very sad and disappointing. It seems there was a planned target on this occasion, as there were about 5 or so people affected. Hope the centre will take this seriously and address the issues.

The pool is great, but if you are going for the first session at 7:15 or 7:30am, be ready to wait. Staff frequently do not show up on time.Reply: Thank you for reply, but there is no excuses for staff getting late to work so often. I really hope these problems are corrected. The pool is great, you guys are great, it is just the problem of being late for work.

Great staff and a nice observation area. Staff are friendly but my daughter and wife find the pool water colder then they would find ideal.

Great facility but poorly managed. Hours are very limited for general entry (2pm-4pm). Parking is paid ($3/30mn). You need your own lock for the lockers, or else take your parka to the pool ―they won’t lend or even sell locks. Inside, it is not clean and there’s loud music, because people like music, don’t they? You’re also limited to 14 minutes in the hot tub, and there is a queue to get in. But that is for your own safety, and also you’re just not an adult who can make their own decisions and count your own time. To die of heat or sue the city, I would choose the sauna —no limit and unsupervised.

The shallow toddler area and slides are nice. Not enough lane swim hours. Change rooms and toilets are old and need renovating. Bring flip flops. The nicest City Pool I’ve been at so far for families is at St Lawrence CC (@ Esplanade). Small facility but very modern with Family change rooms.

It would be a very good option to only allow the use of the sauna and shower area during lesson hours since it is the main thing that people need inside their bones to get through these winters. That's the only reason they didn't get 5 stars.Every thing is nice!
