As an out of town customer I have to say this place is awesome. Jennifer always takes the time to respond to our inquiries and treats us amazing. When I’m in town I always visit the store and they make you feel welcome and appreciated. A refreshing experience compared to the haughtiness at high end jewelers in the major cities. Can’t recommend them enough!

I love to support local as I am a business owner as well however we experienced not one, not two but three horrible experiences here. I won't go Into too much detail except that i took my mother's gorgous antique ring (that I grew up watching her wear for 40 years) in to get sized. The jeweler chipped the stone when removing it from It's claws I understand this can happen as a risk however - the owner tried to emotionally manipulate me to make me feel like somehow it was our fault for not wanting an upgraded service to change the look of the ring. He threatened to fire one of the sales girls ( who was great) who took the order - though she had nothing to do with the chip. My husband called him out on his behaviour. There was no apology or attempt to make it right .I avoided going back into the store for months to pick it up when they had to re cut it because it was so upsetting. This was my mother's ring she was given when she left Australia as a young woman by her father.The owner seriously told me I was wrong that I bought it there in their store!!!! I could not belive it!No empathy. No apology and treated with a great deal of indifference.When I went to pick it up all I wanted was to just get out and they made me wait to talk to management to re live it all again . Again No apology- didn't even offer to give me a discount for their error. As a business owner We would have eaten the $ 125 charge at the leastI'm sure he will leave a message to this review - however the damage is done and really all that was needed was an apology in the moment. This whole experience was horrible. The stone is smaller and my Mother is upset that her heirloom was damaged

Melanie was an absolute pleasure to deal with. Very helpful with my decision making process to pick out a ring. Also, had my engagement ring and wedding band repaired and they turned out perfect. Could not be happier!

I first walked into Janina’s on June 15th, 2023 to inquire about a watch box and was helped by sales rep. Erin. She was friendly and helpful and showed me what they had in stock and what could be ordered in. I also expressed my interest in a Rolex Oyster Perpetual (OP) and Erin assisted me in adding it to my profile. I came back a few days later with my wife and son and ordered the watch box. When the watch box came in my wife and I picked up the box and new watches for each of us. Thirteen days after walking in the doors I got a call from Erin telling me they got in an OP. I couldn’t believe it as they can take three months to two years to come in. Of course I bought it and am overjoyed with how it looks and feels! Erin was amazing to work with and was not pushy on purchasing anything. I can’t wait to see the Oris collection when it arrives!!

Fantastic service and great quality items no matter the budget or occasion. In store goldsmiths did quality work resizing my engagement ring, our wedding bands and engraving a watch. Hands down the place to shop for gifts in the Peace Region! My Mom was impressed by their work and selection too. She had her diamond from a ring she never loved placed in a new setting from out of province after I raved about them. She was sent emails of pictures getting her opinion and finding her the perfect setting. It looks 1000% better and she feels like she got a brand new diamond with the way it shines in the new setting. So glad I recommended Janina's to her and others. Whether you shop online or in person you won't regret it.

Great customer service! I recently brought my Tacori which was purchased at Janina’s in for regular maintenance and the staff was incredible. Jen, Kaidyn and Melanie are wonderful and make you feel extremely comfortable.Not to mention my ring looks back to brand new!I highly recommend Janina’s.

Such an elegant jewellery shop here in Grande Prairie. The shop feel clean and pristine when you walk in. The staff was so very friendly helpful and knowledgeable on jewelry and watches. Customer service were awesome Five Star Plus. Melanie was a awesome host she made me feel comfortable welcome and not unrushed on me making any purchase. I walked in with plan street clothing and she still welcome me like another customer. I heard horrible story on Calgary jewellery store on how they judge people. I appreciated Melanie's knowledge on rolex. I would definitely make my first purchase on rolex here when am back in town for work.Thank you Melanie.

I purchased a custom engagement ring and wedding ring from Janina's in 2015 and Andrzej and his team did an amazing job with it. My wife has been so happy with the design as it’s so unique and the clarity of the diamonds are amazing. She still loves her ring to this day!Janina's has been amazing to work with remotely as I'm located in Vancouver and everything has been done via email/telephone.I recently ordered diamond stud earrings for my wife from Janina's and we just received it. The diamonds meet all 4Cs in diamond quality as promised!So I just wanted to say thank you again for helping me with that process in 2015 and in 2020!
