Golden Prairie Hotel & Lodge

I spend 15 days living out of different hotels for work and the prairie moon is in my top 3 for least favorite places to stay.The hotel itself is decent although very basic. Old coffee makers in rooms, brown towels to hide stains and flat mattresses with grandmas comforter style blankets. The sheets are so thin you can see through them.With that being said what makes this a terrible place to stay in the staff. They are rude and carry themselves with an air of being put out by having them check you in or get extra towels. Never as a guest should I feel intimidated by the staff for asking general requests that fall within the guidelines of doing there job.

Best place to stay in Consort. Breakfast is included and is a step up from your typical continental breakfast. Staff are friendly and accommodating. Rooms are clean and large and there is also a small workout facility. Lodge is more affordable and actually offers better tv service. The walls in the lodge though are quite thin so bring earplugs.

Beds fairly comfortable. Staff is friendly and helpful. Wall are not very sound insulated. I stay in hotels enough that I know you can always hear a little from other rooms but every little sound in this place comes through the walls.

This is nothing more than a place to lay on a very uncomfortable bed. The tv and internet is very very slow and bad quality. The breakfast is of the highest quality microwaved eggs and “meats”. I’ve had staff walk into my room in the middle of the night before. Rooms are fairly clean I will give them that. The camp like trailers on the east side aren’t terrible either, but still nothing to be excited about.

Pleasant surprise! Fantastic bag breakfast provided with lots of options. Plenty of space in the room, very clean, lovely towels. Lots of little perks that add up. Definitely recommend.

I will rate this establishment as VERY POOR.I been staying in a different hotels all over Alberta due to my work and my experience was great until this morning November 25, 2021 in this establishment. Some employees need to learn some manners to make there guests feel comfortable and convenient. We pay the hotel for this reasons, “Comfortable and Convenient” and yet as a guest, I didn’t feel that way today. How come they tell the guest to stop taking water from the water dispenser during breakfast time. And also wipe the coffee spilled in front of the guest. They never think how the guests will feel about that.However, the facilities are good, clean rooms.Just some of the staff need some manners.

Super clean rooms, great house keepers. Make sure to let them know if you’re arriving after hours as there isn’t someone at the desk at all times. Great stay, will definitely come back.

This is a great budget stay. The lodge rooms are built within trailers. Small but very clean with everything you need and well setup. Basic but good and full breakfast included. Good stay.

The hotel was clean, comfortable, and the staff seemed very very friendly. Breakfast was good with a good selection of Foods. The air conditioner in the room I was in was pretty loud. I've stayed at the Prairie Moon Inn & Suites a couple times now and will do so again any time I'm in the area.

Recently stayed in one of the new lodge" rooms behind the hotel and it was awful. No hot water or water pressure
