We had a fantastic experience working with Farms Gate Foods. Catering for our wedding was handled flawlessly by their team. Communication was timely and clear, menu creation was flexible and accommodating, the food was absolutely delicious day of! Our guests raved about the poutine and comfort food stations we hosted. Simply put, you will not be disappointed should you choose to hire this great team!

Creative kitchen with world class staff. They catered my wedding last fall and the food was interesting and delicious. Had lunch at the new kitchen window and it was great Aswell, fried chicken sando was top tier.

We recently had Farms Gate cater our wedding, and the food was truly the star of the show! Michael and Daniel were incredibly professional, accommodating and fun. We changed and added to our menu many times, and each time were met with excitement and creative ideas. The food itself is such high quality, even their seasoned vegetables were at the same caliber as their smoked brisket. They add such amazing details to each dish. Our guests are still talking about the food, and their smoked mashed potato’s will go down in history as most talked about at our wedding. Not only do they make incredible food but they’re very conscious of their impact and maintain local ingredients. Their passion for their business shines through in their food, and it was such a fantastic experience working with them.

We would recommend Mensch Kitchen to anyone planning a catered event. Mensch Kitchen provided the catering for our 160 person wedding and Michael and Daniel could not have done a better job. The food was outstanding and the process was efficient and smooth. They were easy going with our multiple changes to the menu, final numbers and timeline and it all came together flawlessly. On the day of, the staff were incredible - very efficient and incredibly kind. We cannot thank them enough!

We hired Farm's Gate to cater our wedding of 80 people. Before choosing the items on our menu, we met the owners and sampled some of the items. This was helpful and provided us some insight on their cooking style and the type of food they offer. On our wedding day, the food was fresh and delicious. Both the chicken and salmon were perfectly cooked and the vegetables were farm fresh and in-season. Before dinner, we had Farm's Gate cook and serve canapes which was well received by our guests. We were impressed with the food and service provided. Highly recommend!

I have always been big fans of the Farm's Gate food truck and was delighted to have them cater our wedding in May. Dan and Michael are lovely to work with and the food was absolutely delicious. I love how much they focus on using local, fresh, seasonal ingredients! Can't recommend them enough!

Our wedding venue, Stone Bridge Island Farm, has had Mensch Kitchen and Catering cater a number of weddings with many more dates booked in this 2023 wedding season. Mensch Kitchen and Catering have always been reliable, and organized and provided an amazing meal for our couples and their family and friends. We've heard great comments regarding how delicious their food has been and we had the opportunity to taste their food this past weekend and it was top notch! The salmon was done perfectly and their roast potatoes had an amazing dressing on them. They also served a delicious onion tart as well as perfectly prepared seasonal vegetables and a lovely green salad. We highly recommend Mensch Kitchen and Catering for any event you may be planning.

Farm Gate catered the First Chance Christmas Fair and the food was delicious. The cinnamon bun was so delicious- moist chewy texture and not too sweet. I am not a cinnamon bun lover and this was one I wanted to eat again. Sadly when I asked for a second one they had sold out. I also had the breakfast bun which was so i incredible. It was a small portion packed with flavour. The bagel was homemade and fresh. Delicious. I hope they are at the Last Chance Show

Farm’s Gate are simply fantastic. They catered our wedding and did a brilliant job. The food was delicious, creative and beautiful, and received a lot of compliments from our guests. On top of that, it was so easy to work with them. Farm’s Gate are very professional. They made everything so clear and straightforward it genuinely took a lot of stress out of planning. Would love to try more of their food! Highly recommended.
