Greenwood Playground And Park

This playground used to have train and helicopter jungle gyms which were awesome. As these tools of capitalism represent the resource dependent existence of our province, they had to be erased. Fortunately the new carbon neutral gluten free organic Waldorf playground is actually great. They still have the same olden days rides like teeter totters, only now they use carbon free steel wood and plastic. The risk of injury, and therefore likelihood of your child having to think is very real here, in fact there are not even signs indicating weight limits. That's fine because I love launching the Little Rascals off the teeter totters into the well placed spider swing thing, I wouldn't feel safe to do so on something with a known failure point. The new additions of ziplines and an offleash dog area are also great leg stretchers. We often grab a snack at deadwood and head here to break up the drive. I would consider dropping a star due to the proximity to the highway as it is not possible to drive past without kids noticing but it turns out it holds 5 stars.

New play structure made entirely of wood. Great to see natural materials in use. Zipline, teeter Ritter's, swings and a good picnic area. Great for a stopover if travelling hwy 3 with the family.

This park brought back memories and we created new ones as well. Good pas time while charging the car a couple blocks away at the fast charger

Recently updated to a more wild play style playground. Zip lines, cool asthetic worth a stop if you got kids!

It's a brand new playground. but it's all wood and my little nephew got a nasty sliver playing there

Traditional stop for us every year. All the old style park equipment that we loved as children.

The playground is adjacent to the dog park which we regularly take our greyhound to. Both places are very popular with families.
