Recently received our new coffee table and it is nothing short of impressive. From the initial consultation, Felix took our design considerations and pitched several excellent options. He is a talented designer and craftsman. The table we have now is exactly what we were looking for. The quality of his work (including the wood he picks out himself) is substantially higher than other local, smaller furniture competitors. We would highly recommend him to anybody seeking a local furniture alternative. Pricing was reasonable and appropriate for the quality of the product, excellent value. We will be ordering from him again. Lovely individual as well, pleasure to work with.

Felix from Loxley Studio was amazing to work with. The level of professionalism and care for his craft was truly amazing. We had a custom commission idea with an extremely tight deadline (of about 1 month) with barebones ideas of what the end product was going to look like. He responded virtually immediately and helped us create/propose designs that fit all considerations (cost, quality, scalability, weight, logistics etc.). His expertise on different materials and their advantages and disadvantages really helped craft an end product that is beautiful, functional, and likely to last a very long time. He communicated at every point in the process and was very transparent and ended up even finishing the project a few days ahead of schedule! We're so delighted to have found the studio and will be sure to come back if we have any more custom projects in the future.

I contracted Loxley Studio to make a custom table for my mechanical plotter. The piece that he designed was not only beautiful - in single piece ash - but also very thoughtful. Felix imagined details to the piece that I would never have considered that make the experience of using the table an absolute joy.In addition to wonderful design and top quality workmanship, the communication was timely and efficient and the design process was thoroughly enjoyable.I cannot recommend Loxley Studio enough.

I was referred to Loxley Studio for a custom floating shelf was very happy with the product. Felix was great to work with - responsive, professional and friendly. He did a great job of matching the colour and grain of the shelf with the counter I was trying to match and had the shelf ready sooner than originally planned. The shelf itself is beautifully finished and looks great in my space. Would definitely return for another custom order in the future.

Felix was great with communication from start to finish and was able to build a beautiful L shaped custom desk for my office. He was on time with his quote and also helped to deliver and install. Would definitely recommend him and would use him again for any future custom pieces!

We have had custom made furniture designed and made for decades, but our long term woodcrafter unfortunately retired.A search for a replacement was not easy, for two reasons. For most of them, you do not even get to speak to the actual woodcrafter. Everything must be communicated through a middleman, which makes it almost impossible to get things done how you want. And secondly, finding someone who does really high quality, flawless work is even more difficult.We stumbled across Loxley Studio with a Google search, and could not be happier. Felix is the owner of the company and he is also the man who picks up the phone. It was immediately apparent that Felix is both very articulate and highly intelligent. These are critical attributes for a quality woodcrafter, as they need to understand exactly what you want and clearly explain alternative options which may be better. The even better news was that Felix also oversees all projects and even performs much of the work on his own. So no middleman here, and nothing lost in translation.Our first project was a simpler one, just making a solid ash desktop. But it was a good test. Felix quickly showed that his priority is not about money. His priority is developing long term relationships with customers who will work with him again and again, and tell everyone they know in the process. Just smart business. For our desktop, we wanted the cheaper ash but only if a piece was available with consistent grain. If not, we would have went with a more expensive white oak. But Felix sorted through all of the wood at the yard until he found the perfect ash piece. It is unlikely that most would do that, as just grabbing a piece of oak, and making more money, would seem like the better, easier choice.When we got our top, it turned out perfectly, with just a beautiful finish. (the Osmo brand of products he uses are top of the line)During our three visits to his shop, we were also able to check out several other pieces he was working on in various stages of completion. All were equally amazing, with the best build quality and attention to detail.We should point out that when you first visit Felix, you will likely not be impressed with his shop. It requires driving down a long lane, with many somewhat rundown buildings. His shop is not fancy, no beautiful office, and the building itself appears to be very old. But this should not be of any concern to you at all. His work may just be the best you will find, and any savings on the shop are definitely passed along. Prices are very reasonable, especially when you consider that you will be getting furniture on par with the finest furniture stores in the city, and with Felix, you will be getting it designed exactly how you want.

Living in a small space, it can be difficult to find beautiful and quality pieces that fit both your taste and size constraints. I found Loxley Studio through FB marketplace after deciding custom would be the best option to get exactly what I was looking for.I can absolutely say I couldn't be happier with my decision to contract Felix. I came to him with space requirements and a vague idea of what I was looking for in a dining table that would fit my small space. Felix's thorough design process and attention detail resulted in a beautiful piece that is the perfect addition to my home. The design and craftsmanship is excellent and the whole experience working together was seamless from start to finish. My new dining table is exactly what I had hoped for and more.I highly recommend Felix and Loxley Studio if you're looking for high quality custom furniture.
