I first discovered Genie's Solutions for my electrolysis needs by referral from the woman who was doing my electrolysis (Maggie RIP, who lived in St Vital near UM). I am of north Indian descent (South Asian) woman with a medium to dark complexion depending on the season. The process can be painful and uncomfortable but is well worth it. Great staff and a very relaxing atmosphere. I am currently going there for electrolysis to remove facial hair and Marcia is awesome. After 3 sessions there is a noticeable reduction in facial hair and the time of the appointments. I started a few years back with laser and it removed a lot of hair. after 8-10 sessions I was told to switch to electrolysis to remove to mostly white hair.I can't begin to say how great my experience has been. Marcia is very professional and takes the time to explain the procedure, what to expect as far as regrowth and hair cycles. Even as far as documenting each visit and showing the progress made so far.I have to admit that I have only been here for hair removal BUT did attempt to go elsewhere. When I searched local hair removal the first place seemed so unwelcoming. I drove to the location to only find out that appointments had to be made by phone or online. I then went to Genie and within minutes had someone helping me set up an appointment for laser. As I mentioned earlier they have great, experienced staff that take the time to make customers feel welcome.Highly recommended for hair removal.

I have struggled with dark course facial hair for years - waxing, plucking, laser treatment.... nothing worked. Only other women who share this problem can understand the embarrassment and stress that comes with five o'clock shadows and stubble. After eight months of electrolysis treatments with Marcia Gomez, my facial hair is almost gone. It occurred to me recently that I don't think about it anymore. This is an incredible feeling. A few more months, and I'm sure it will be all gone. Marcia is extremely professional and is an expert in the field of electrolysis. She is honest and realistic. Couldn't recommend more. The process is WELL worth it.

Great experience at Genie so far and I feel comfortable with Cindy, my technician. She is kind and patient, professional and knowledgable. Office is clean and the location is central. Packages are well priced with great options. Seeing very good results, and I never knew what shedding really was until now - I advise following the suggestions given to aid the process though. I will say, this was also the most painful laser treatment I've experienced so far but, there's a solution for that too... get the numbing cream!!

Absolutely hands down the best placeI have been to a few places that cost way more and didn't get the result i wanted.I would normally have a 5 o'clock shadow by the end of work day and i have only had 4 sessions here and i can go multiple days without shaving and almost all dark hairs are gone and then we will move on to different treatment to get rid of the white course hair.I have been struggling with facial hair for many many years, being discouraged going for treatments at other places and not getting results. i am over the moon i found this gem and will always recommend.

My journey at Genie Solutions began about two years ago. I started with laser hair removal and was very happy with the results. Then, after about ten treatments of laser hair removal, I was referred to Marcia to begin electrolysis.From the very first treatment with Marcia I felt a strong connection; she always makes me feel welcome and comfortable. I really appreciated how she explained exactly how electrolysis works and what kind of results I would get - She was completely honest.I did not know this until recently, but this was not my first time meeting Marcia. When I was younger she was my dental assistant, too.
