There is no shorefront access here. This is a city central close destination for taking in the heights with panoramic views to north and east. It's a long narrow strip of a park, mostly used as a foot path. I will return for pre-sunrise shots or moon rise shots at some point when the stars align.

Was in the West end of Hamilton over the lunch hour. Drove thru a fast food joint and stopped for lunch in the park to enjoy a very quiet setting.Lots of picnic tables, easy access, tons of parking. Great place to decompress in the midst of a hectic day.

Beautiful views of Hamilton harbour/the bay. Connects Dundurn park and access to the bay via a set of stairs at the historic McQuesten High Level bridge.

There is a free parking space . beautiful view of Lake Ontario, view of GO train passing. access to Water Front trail for cycling. the only problem is lots of stair to get to trail but there is a convenience way for this.

John Harvey was a British soldier and colonial administrator who was appointed to Upper Canada. Harvey distinguished himself during the War of 1812, particularly at Lundy's Lane, the siege of Fort Erie, and, most notably, the Battle of Stoney Creek.

Nice biking, hiking or jogging area with the harbour as a backdrop. Connect with the waterfront trail below at the T.B. McQuesten bridge stairs.
