Abram Lake Resort & RV Park

Great location, nice cabins and it would be a great place if it were not for the new owners who have zero interpersonal skills, will treat you like a child including leaving stupid little patronizing notes for such things as leaving a 15 watt lightbulb on or a few drops of red wine on the linoleum floor from the night before. They will also let themselves into your cabin when you are not there to have a look around. They should not be in the hospitality business because they are terrible with people and will rub you the wrong way. Operating a stun gun at an abattoir far away from the public would have been a better career choice for the new owners.

Abram lake is a 5 star resort. The cabins are absolutely beautiful, spotlessly clean, rustic in a well thought out way to make you feel at home in a log cabin. Paula and Al are perfect hosts who are caring and keep a well maintained resort. We love it here!

Untechnosized the family before arriving at our beautiful camping spot! I have started a family tradition of going camping every year , for 10 days and so far this is our 3rd yr and this yr will be the 2nd time we come here! love it, my mom lives and Sioux lookout and she is a double amputee, she rides her scooter daily out to visit my grandchildren, my kids and myself daily! so if anyone ever sees her on her scooter honk and wave her name is Theresa! We have been going to Abram Lake Park for over 20 years and wouldn't think of going anywhere else! The campground has all the conveniences you need and is clean. We have also stayed in the cottages and they are very nice. If you have any problems/issues, the staff is quick to respond. Besides looking forward to the great fishing in Canada, we always look forward to seeing Paula and Al every year!

My husband an I just got back from our yearly 2 week trip to Abram Lake resort. We had met the new owners last fall and really liked them. We pulled in with our fifth wheel and boat and before we could get all setup Randy had brought us our tractor bucket full of wood. Randy and Corrie had already started updating the resort by redoing the floors in 3 of the cabins, putting LED lighting and new hoses in the fish cleaning shed, which my husband much appreciated. They fixed all of the washing machines and dryers in the laundry room and put all new toilets in the shower house. I'm sure they will get a lot more done this summer. Randy and Corrie are great people and make sure that you have everything you need to have nice stay at their resort. They are also adding better internet and a credit card machine as soon as they can. Plus adding more items to the store for more convenience and have fixed the gas pump up by the store. Randy and Corrie would check on everyone periodically to see if their stay was going well. We couldn't have asked for a nicer couple to take over for Alan and Paula.We will definetly be going back, hopefully in the fall and we have already put our reservation in for next year. We can't wait to see what they accomplish next. Despite the high waters and cold temperatures our first week, we had a great time, caught lots of fish and got to relax.You have to stay here, you will absolutely love it, cabins or camping.Thank you Randy and Corriesee you soon!

We've been coming to Abram lake resort for 16 years. The camp has a lot of cabins and sites yet is still quiet and friendly. You can get to great fishing spots from camp or are only a 20 minute drive from Lac Suel or big Vermilion. Cabins are kept up in great shape. Paula and Al are wonderful hosts. They make camp feel like a second home. I couldn't say enough good about them.

We had an amazing time. Randy and Corrie were great. The cottage was perfect and thank you for the rides while my truck was being fixed. We will definitely be back next year.

Beautiful even on a cloudy day!Owners are very friendly and helpful.Laundromat is clean and all machines work well, with very good prices (and bonus, machines are set up to take both USA and Canadian quarters!)Beautiful, well-groomed campsites with awesome view of lake. Nice to hear the loons at night!We very much enjoyed our five day stay at Abram Lake Resort!

Great place to have a vacation. Excellent fishing, great beaches, variety of accommodations. Kids play area and hiking trail. Quiet, clean and spacious cabins. Camper area that has water and electrical hookup. I will be coming back every year.

Class act! Such a great resort. The owners Paula and Allan are so thoughtful and the location is hard to beat. For 20 years I’ve come here and fished the Lac Suel system of lakes. Some of the most remote and beautiful countryside in Canada and the fishing is incredible. 30”+ Northern are common and 16”+ Walleyes too. (Know the slots and limits!) Fly-in available or drive in as well. Luxury cabins on site are really affordable as well as campsites with water, electricity, laundry, and hot shower. Not much for restaurant options so plan to cook!
