Ride The Mous

5 star property, 5 star host family, 5 star accommodations.Couldn't have been happier with our stay. Ryan, Serica and family were very welcoming. It is clear that their place is a labour of love and cherished as their property is beautifully maintained. It is a perfect balance of class and good ol' country living.We booked a family reunion with them that accommodated both travel trailers and family staying in the house. Everything was clean and tidy. They were professional to book with and fun to socialize with. If you needed anything they were available and helpful. If you are looking for a nice relaxing venue, close to town and beaches...(or sledding ...my husband has gone sledding with Ryan as well....AMAZING!) then this is the place.Unfortunately, I can only assume that those leaving the 1 star reviews on here are the group of unclassy gentlemen that were staying in the large cabin on the property when we were there. I suppose this is a good lesson on being careful with information you get on the internet. I work in the Mental Health field and can say with confidence that something was off with these men. Typically, one would understand that letting the owner's farm animals out of their enclosures at night and inviting them into their rental cabin is frowned upon and highly unorthodox. However, these men needed multiple reminders that it was not okay. Ultimately, Ryan and Serica handled it quietly and with grace. Sorry you had to experience that Ryan and Serica....people can sure be colorful sometimes!

Ryan and Serica are the most down to earth people I could’ve imagined. They totally exceeded my groups expectations on every measure. They checked in with us to make sure we were okay, they offered us to come to social gatherings on their farm with them and other guests and had an absolute riot. Facilities are great as well. This family truly cares about their guest experiences and they take amazing care of their property and their animals. Our group will return next year for sure.

Very cozy cabins on a private, yet accessible property. Lots of nice features in the cabin with focus on every small detail! Perfect for sledders since there are a lot of drying hooks and a boot dryer to dry gear. Hot tub is great and beds are super comfortable.Plenty of space for trucks and trailers at the top. Sled rentals available on site.Thanks again for the amazing opportunity to stay, cant wait to come back again!

Ryan & Serica are amazing! The location is fantastic. The airbnb rentals are well spread out for social distancing. The property has lots of farm animals, a playhouse and a tree swing. It's great for kids! The property has amazing views of Hyde Mountain and the Golf Course! Lots of photo worthy spots around the property. Clean and well maintained accomodations. Friendly and helpful family owned and operated business. 2 thumbs up!!! We will definitely be back!

Me and my family absolutely loved staying with Ryan and Serica at Hyde homestead, they were very friendly and inviting and they thought of everything right down to a treat in the fridge for the kids when we arrived after driving 6 hours and a welcome card. The property is amazing with the cutest friendliest animals and fruit trees at every turn, very close to atleast 3 beautiful beaches on Mara lake, would give a 6 star rating if I could. Recommended to anyone I know and love, hope to return ASAP.

Ryan and Serica are fantastic hosts. The house is very well kept and furnished. They were very welcoming and invited our group and others to small social gatherings. Our group had a ton of fun during our week there. Not to mention the views and the proximity to the golf course. We will definitely be back here

We have nothing but good things to say about Ryan and Serica. During our stay, there were some rather strange happenings with the guests at the Airbnb. Ryan and Serica dealt with it as best they could. Unfortunately, the guests became rather unruly. I see that the guests have left uncomplimentary reviews. I think this should be noted and taken into account when you read the reviews. Ryan and Serica have put their hearts into this little paradise and don’t deserve these bad reviews.This place is very quaint and quiet with lots of space. You will enjoy your stay here

After booking our Air BnB for a weekend getaway, I started looking for a sled rental company. It turned out that the Air BnB I booked was also ran by Ride the Mous. Ryan and Serica were AWESOME with helping me get all the details sorted out so we could have a great weekend. Their Air BnB cabins are fantastic, and Ryan set me up with a sled rental right away. Super affordable and easy to arrange. He also got us set up with a guide for the day. We went out with Dale, who was absolutely superb. My partner is a very experience mountain sledder, while I have almost no experience riding at all. But Dale still made sure that both of us were challenged, exhausted, and absolutely exhilerated by the day. Will definitely be using this company again - what a fantastic weekend.

Had an absolute blast with ride the mous, booked the single day sled and bed package. The accommodations were great, and the private hot tub was awesome. Had an amazing day on the mountain guided by our included guide Tyler, he was very knowledgeable, and gave us pointers on mountain riding. It was my first time riding in the mountains, and I will definitely be back.

We booked a complete Sled and Bed package for the first week in March for 4 individuals. We all are beginner mountain snowmobilers and this was the 1st or 2nd experience for all of us (We are all flat land riders).Ryan was an exceptional guide and host. We all had a fantastic time and definitely want to do it again. The house/cabin was clean and comfortable. The snowmobiles were all current models and in top notch condition. We were taken to areas that looked to be untouched in the mountains. Had great snow and weather! I fully recommend contacting Ride the Mous for all your needs be it a Guide, snowmobile rental, accommodations or the full package!
