NO STARS!!!!The website boasts about the wonderful customer service and the outstanding products. I purchased a Samsung dishwasher from this seller online in December of 2021.The dishwasher was delivered several months later (end of March) in a sedan with no operators manual, warranty paperwork or clips to hold the dishwasher in place.I had difficulty arranging delivery and when I finally received it and removed the shrink wrap (yes, that was all that was protecting the unit during delivery from Scarborough to London in a car) the soap dispenser was broken.I contacted the company representative and told him what had happened and I sent pictures. I asked about the warranty which he replied that I had a 2 year store warranty and he would arrange for someone to contact me to arrange a time to look at the dispenser. I waited and waited. I followed up numerous times and nothing was done. I asked if I contacted someone to come and service the dishwasher world Smarthome Devices reimburse me? I was told yes. The dispenser had to be replaced and it cost approx $180.00 to fix including the service charge. I inquired about the reimbursement and received no response.When I had service to install the dishwasher (I had to pay for that myself), I was told that the dishwasher was used (I was not informed that it was a used unit when I purchased it). After it was installed, it did not work. The unit filled with water but the spray arms didn't work. I contacted the company once again and informed them that the dishwasher did not work. I was told that all appliances that left the store were in working condition and they deliver all over Canada and I was the only one that had issues with any of their products. They offered to pick up the unit and refund my money for the original purchase however, I had already spent money to fix the soap dispenser and have it installed. At this point, it was inferred that maybe I was trying to scam the company and there was no issue with the dishwasher at all. I told them to send a technician to look at it and then I would expect an apology when their tech told them that the dishwasher did in fact, not work!I had a technician contact me. I called him back and told him what the issue was and he said he would talk to the owners and get approval for the service call. I have texted the technician and the company several times by text and through their website to find out what was going on and no action has been taken.Buyer beware in my personal experience.

Bought a fridge from this place, staff seemed very friendly and offered free shipping to my house. Was happy with the price and service until 1 week after using the fridge, it started to leak and the fridge is not cold, had to throw away many food products as the fridge will not keep the fridge cold. Call Smarthome Devices, they refuse to come and exchange the fridge, stating the warranty has passed, its only been 24 days!! Please buy from somewhere that offers warranties. I have have to look from a repair person to come out or a while new fridge.

Very affordable and good service. I bought a used fridge from here the Whirlpool side by side about a month ago for only $340 and it's been doing the job for my tenants and so I wanted to leave this review. Thank you guys for also delivering the same evening and bringing it into the basement. Great affordable prices and friendly service. I'll be bakk for my other rental property.

I visited Smart Home Devices last week to purchase a new fridge. The staff was very helpful and knowledgeable about the products and helped me choose what would work best in my home. Not only did they have exceptional customer service, but all of their products are high quality and affordable!! I will definitely be back to purchase more!

Do not buy from this company. It's more like a scam. Bought an LG fridge from them 3 weeks ago; my husband repeatedly asked if the fridge was working, and they confirmed to him yes.After 24 hours, we plugged it in and discovered the next day it wasn't working. They have refused to change the fridge or make a refund. You call repeatedly, and no one picks up the call even they guy that sold the fridge refused to pick up.We also drove down to their office to choose another one agreeing to add more money to what we initially paid, but lo and behold, we found out the fridge is not good as well.Our next step is to probable contact a news agency so other people don't fall for their scam and other options in recovering our money back from these scammers.BEWARE DO NOT BUY FROM THEM TO AVOID HEADACHES AND STRESS.

Many big stores sell the same products, but in my opinion this is the one company that sells amazing products for the best prices. When I came looking for a TV, I had no clue of what I really wanted, to be honest I didn't even have any prior knowledge to what I wanted to purchase, but the guys that worked here gave me the best service and guided me through the information that I needed to know in making a choice. In my opinion, even if other major businesses open up, I would definitely keep going to this company for my electronic needs.

I spent months trying to find a 75 inch lg thin q but until I found these guys it was either wildly overpriced or never in stock. I stopped by smart home devices earlier this week and couldn't believe the prices I was seeing. They did a great job explaining their range of products so between the customer service and the price it was a pretty easy choice. Definitely going to head back when I have more time to browse the rest of their electronics.

Wish we read the reviews in more depth before purchasing anything from SH Devices. Scam doesn't even begin to cover it. There were so many red flags from the beginning. After rescheduling a couple of times, their delivery guys brought our fridge at 10:30pm (the time frame was 5pm-7pm). Because it was dark we didn't see that they had damaged it additionally. When we bought the fridge there was only one dent on the side and I have the pictures to prove it. Once it arrived, the side of the door had a dent.I left multiple voicemails, called countless times, visited their store 4 times to discuss what can be done and NOTHING. No answer, no nothing. One guy that worked there told us we'd hear back after he spoke to his owner and still, nothing. I'm almost waiting for the other shoe to drop and I expect the fridge to stop working which, if that happens, I will pursue legal actions. If they had simply answered the phone and took 5 minutes out of their day to have a reasonable talk, I would've left it alone. Being ignored and having zero of our communications returned is the last straw. I will not stop until something is fixed. DO NOT BUY FROM THEM.

I would give this review a 0/5 if possible. I have never felt the need to review a business before but in light of my recent experience with this business, I felt the need to warn other consumers. They are scammers here and if you take a look at the other 1 star reviews, you will see that they are all consistent with what they say. This business will take your money with the promise of a warranty and good faith but the second that they have your money, they will never pick up the phone or provide any good customer service. We were very close to contacting the consumer bureau and hiring a lawyer to get our money back but after several attempts over a week, we were able to push enough to get a refund. Make sure you get everything in writing, including their warranty policy. If you are looking to receive money back, do not be afraid to push and push until you get it back. These people claim they are running a business, but it is just a guise for a low level scam. Beware before you purchase anything from here.
