Wow Wings
Well we went to Wow Wings for New Years I give this place a 1 or no stars. They were advertising a special menu for new years They had a choice of lobster bisk soup seafood dinner salmon and prime rib with a glass of wine We ended up ordering from the regular menu there was no special menu I ended up getting a spicy poutine mom and dad got wings and mom got the worst ceaser salad ever When we ordered we expected to get prime rib and lobster bisk what we were hoping for they said we don't have that kinda special menu they false advertised which is very bad. . I asked for a Guinness they told me they don't have it and they Don't have dark beer I saw a guy drinking dark beer two tables a head of us they lied I was very discussed on they way the night turned out we waited for an hour for the food and another hour for the drinks we had to go up and ask them for our drinks I will never return they better pull up there socks or close down

It took 40 minutes to bring a caesar salad and a poutine. Waitress was disinterested in making sure we had utensils to eat with. Lettuce in salad was limp and soggy, far too much gravy on fries huge amount in bottom causing fries to be disgusting and couldn’t even finish them. Tables were unclean and sticky. Disappointed with our experience definitely won’t be back. There only 3 tables in use so couldn’t be that the personal were too busy to take pride in there job performance

Well…… I will start by saying the young brown haired fella was friendly. That’s all I have good to say. This visit was exactly what I expected from previous visits. I will make it short and sweet…… ordered 5 lb family meal and a side of onion rings for take out. I waited inside for 1/2 hour even after I showed up 10 mins late for pick up time. Once I got the food home (and it’s 3 blocks away) the only food that was warm was the salad. WOW I can’t believe you are still open is what the name should be! Thanks. Get wings from The grocery store.

So I'm quite conflicted on how to review our most recent experience here, so where I'll start is that if we had just gone for wings - my rating would be a solid 5/5. Wings are their core business. My husband and I both had wings and felt they were excellent. I had pineapple curry and it was the best wing sauce I've ever eaten. They were crispy and fresh, meat came off the bone, and they were sauced really well. We would go back for wings anytime. That being said, our overall experience wasn't great. Service was good, and the one server working was trying really hard to take good care of everyone. But similar to many other/most other businesses right now, it is clear that they need more staff. We started with chicken nachos which were really good! Not too much of anything, good amount of sauces. Everyone ordered something a bit different - my mom got a salad, my dad got pasta, and my grandma got a chicken burger. The wrong salad came for my mom, but the server was quick to fix it. My grandma enjoyed her chicken burger which came with a huge portion of fries. However, she had originally ordered a pizza and root beer, both of which were on the menu but not available. One quick piece of feedback would be to mark off/cross off things that aren't available on the menus instead of letting customers know after they've ordered. I also think the rating scale for wing sauce is unnecessarily confusing. My dad seemed to enjoy his pasta, but was disappointed in the limited options for beer. As I mentioned, my husband and I both really enjoyed our wings, but I had also ordered battered mushrooms which never came. Lots of highs and a couple of fixable lows. Would go back as we really enjoyed our wings and that's what they're known for.

Contemplated going here due to the bad reviews. Glad we went. A group of 9 was served and bills paid in 65 minutes. Wings were amazing, good amount of sauce, wings were still crispy on the outside and meat pulled off the bone! Definitely going back again!

We had the souvlaki chicken kebab with rice and Greek salad. It was quite good only the kebab was a tad salty for my taste.Our young server was quite attentive and pleasant.Would revisit this establishment again.

We kept giving this place the benefit of the doubt. Kept giving it more chances. But no more. The waitress at the bar would rather do shots with her friends who are playing pool than pay attention to customers. And every order we make cannot be made right. After correcting repeatedly correcting and still no real effort to make it right. We are done.

Went mid afternoon last weekend, it was very quiet, I was surprised. Our server was amazing, the wings were crispy, saucy and delicious- huge selection of flavours to choose from. Local beer on tap. The price was right, would definitely return for lunch to try out more wing flavours!

Fantastic place for an affordable pint and wings. Love their local beer selection, and the server was top-shelf awesome. Way too quiet for a Saturday afternoon. Highly recommend this restaurant to locals and people passing through. You will not be disappointed with the food or the service.

Have heard mixed reviews about this place. Just my boyfriend and I came in. There were about 4 other tables (between 2-4 people at each one). Waited about 15-20 minutes for drinks. My boyfriend ordered one pound of wings & a poutine, I ordered fries with gravy & broccoli cheddar bites. We waited a good 25-30 minutes before my boyfriends food came out, I tried a few of his fries from the poutine and they were completely cold. Got my food about 5-10 minutes later & cheddar bites were good but my fries were luke warm and gravy was basically cold. Felt bad for the one server on the floor. Boyfriend asked for boneless wings and got wings with bones, and nobody came to check about our food. Pretty disappointed about the service but also understand the lack of employees. Costed us $60 for one pound of wings, a poutine, broccoli cheddar bites, and fries with gravy. One pop & one beer on tap. We flagged down the server 4-5 times before we got our bill. Not impressed.
