Agincourt Collegiate Institute

The teachers and the students are very nice. The school has everything near by and for those who don't know there is a Church, A Community Center, A GO Transit Station, A shopping plaza and plenty of restaurants.

Really love the community. Before attending ACI, I would've never thought to take music as an elective. The music program is good stuff ^_^

Overall, this school is actually quite nice. Easy to navigate after only a couple days of walking around, and a lot of the teachers are great. Some seem to be a little iffy, but they're few and far between. It's one of the oldest schools in the area, and thus there's next to no air conditioning in the school. It can get sweltering on summer days, and a friend of mine had actually bought a massive portable fan for his desk. There's a couple all gender restrooms in the school making it inclusive to anybody on the LGBTQ+ spectrum. It's located in a very convenient area. There's a church just outside of the field, a community center, plenty of restaurants, and even a GO transit station if you need it. However, I can't talk about ACI without mentioning their phenomenal music program. MIDI, Strings, Repertoire, Vocal, Band, Guitar, it's all here. Their Vocal course is amazing, one of the best Vocal courses you'll ever find. Not only is their music department amazing with wonderfully nice staff, but they also always push you to do your best. They can always see your potential and will help you in any possible way they can to make you reach it. Even if I have some gripes with this school, the good far outweighs the bad. Even if you aren't interested in the music program, it's still the second best school in the neighbourhood. It's not perfect, but it's a school that's going to always be near and dear to my heart. I've never gone to a school that's so welcoming and accepting. It's a place I can be proud of graduating from. I'm going to miss this school. I'll make sure to come back every once in a while, I promise!

Oldest highscool in the area. Great history and many great teachers. The school needs a lot of work to bring it up to modern times.

The school is really nice, all the teachers are really understanding and kind. Some of them are under qualified but overall I would recommend this school because of the great programs.

It's a hit and miss as to what teachers your kids will get. Ms. Berdichevsky has been a known problem to this school for years and the school has nothing absolutely nothing to rectify her behaviour. This lady forces her agenda onto her students and gets aggressive with anybody who disagrees with her on any subject. The school administration says there is nothing they can do about it. Unbelievable!!!

Concert was nice, but super hot without AC.

the teachers are so incredibly unprofessional. many teachers make snide, rude, outright disrespectful comments to students that they dislike and it is painfully apparent. the teachers not only partake in belittling students for their own enjoyment, but they also partake in some seriously unprofessional gossip, towards students AND coworkers. they are extremely sensitive to criticism and questions that debate their authority" and tend to reprimand students who do decide to speak up and talk about the inconsistencies in their teaching. so many teachers here literally relish in publicly humiliating their students. there have also been many instances where one teacher in specific has put her hands roughly on students

The building needs a serious modernization. In the summer, it feels like its a hundred degrees inside, especially in the classrooms. Many classrooms do not have appropriate air conditioning. It feels as if its cooler outside in the shade than inside this old building. Hope this gets fixed.Good music program and nice teachers tho
