知味煲仔饭 (Yonge) Good Taste Casserole Rice
Good value and taste clay pot rice. The key is good sweet soya sauce and they had it readily available at the table. Clay pot rice came with a side of veggies which was a nice touch. Beef rice roll was exactly what you would expect. A no frills, but clean restaurant. Come and eat good and unpretentious food. Good job!

There was way too many itty bitty boney pieces...and actually more bone than meat in the short rib casserole pot. It was hard to enjoy the meal when I was constantly spitting out bones out of my mouth. Also felt like the proportion of toppings to rice wasn't right... Not enough toppings! The scorched rice at the bottom of the pot was good though.

My favourite restaurant is now on Yonge Street! I am soooo happy!This is the third restaurant to open. The staff is friendlier than the other two restaurants; probably because the store is new. The quality of the food is consistent as with the other two restaurants. The rice has nicely toasted but not burnt. This adds a nice crunch to the rice. The soy sauce is sweet and not over powering. We ordered at random the preserved meat and preserved spare ribs (#18) and minced pork and salted egg (#24). We will definitely be back to try the others casseroles.

Delicious clay pot rice and pricing is affordable for North York/Yonge Street area. Most claypot bowls are $13-$14 pre tax. There are many combinations of claypots on the menu and you are able to customize as well.Each claypot bowl comes with a side of fresh vegetables as well.I ordered #26 (pork with salted fish) and #3 (dried sausage with eel).

Their food is amazing 5/5, but service and environment are really bad. Minus 2 stars. The server even do not help you with a soy sauce, you should grab one at the front table. The location is surrounded by gangs of homeless so be prepared that they will come in and yell at you while you are eating. The servers cannot cope with those guests" so you should learn how to protect your self.Update: Services way better now

My husband and I had late dinner here for the first time. Food was very nice that I want to come back again. However the wait was too long - 30mins. Other than the wait, I would give 5/5 stars for sure.

We both ordered sticky rice, the sticky rice is too moist and blend together, maybe white rice they can control the water better. That’s why it doesn’t get 5 stars. Yet, you can still get the toasted and burnt rice at the bottom.Best part, have to admit their toppings are excellently good and have rich flavour.
