Sommets Charlevoix

Rented a very nice chalet at the Sommets. The chalet itself was very clean and we were very comfortable there. Family of 5. The kids loved the area. The receptionist that welcomed us was great and gave us some advice on what to check in the region. Was quick to offer some bottled water because they were testing the water and the results weren’t back yet and she just wanted to make sure everything was ok. Also we didn’t have an outside fire pit but she said we could use the common one and even lent us some metal sticks to cook our marshmallows. Definitely would go back. Very peaceful at night, nothing but the sounds of the woods and some howling in the distance :)

Stayed for 4 days and it was the perfect base for sightseeing and skiing the Charlevoix region. It's basically ski in ski out condominium building at the base of the mountain. We had a 2br unit overlooking the ocean. the whole place was spacious, inviting, and clean. Beds were comfortable. Decent cooking equipments. Will I stay here again? Definitely yes.

Beautiful chalet. The views are incredible fantastic amenities at the facilities 10 minutes from Le Massif 30 minutes from Mount Saint Anne overall beautiful location. The staff was very accommodating polite and very professional. There were a few things that based on the price we paid to stay per night could have been much better. Showers were either hot or cold nothing in between, bathroom doors would not open more than one foot due to the tiles on the floor being too high. The workmanship and finishes at the chalet were clearly done in a rush or not by a professional. They are minor details but at $450 per night, I would expect that the faucets and doors would function properly etc. Other than that this place is really nice.

Only had a chance to view from the outside outstanding View and the amenities are so much better than any hotel

We stayed here over the Christmas break with the intention of skiing at Le Massif. It is located 15 minutes to the city and the mountain. The cottage was very large and fit our two families comfortably.A mud room in the front was spacious enough for all of our ski equipment, skates, and snow shoes.Kitchen as equipped with almost everything we needed.Had an issue with the cleanliness of some of the bedsheets, but they quickly came to rectify it. They even offered to pick up some food for us for a small charge. This want something they normally did, but we were glad they did.

Wonderful installation, great view, all necessary amenities

Beautiful clean chalets with great views. The management staff is great and attentive.No restaurants nearby so you will have to drive 15 minutes to Baie St Paul if you plan to eat out or to shop at pharmacies or grocery stores.

Our family and friend group of 10 from Ontario are devastated by the COVID refund policy. We had booked two chalets in March 2020, which we had to postpone due to the pandemic. We are booked again in March 2021, however, we must follow gathering and travelling advise by the governments of Quebec and Canada and have requested a refund, which has been denied. Our only offer from Sommets staff has been to either rebook in April 2021 or forfeit 100% of the cost of our stay (upwards of $5K). We feel we have no choice but to take the advice from Quebec’s Office of Consumer Safety and take legal action. Do not stay here. We know we will never be back.

Great location, decent prices, incredible view. A little limited in terms of what was included in the unit we rented (utensils, pots/pans, cleaning supplies, etc)
