I don’t even live in Calgary and this is one of the only places I get my hair done. They always do such an amazing job with color correction and will take on anything I ask. The staff and students are extremely professional, knowledgeable and a pleasure to be around. Tyana and Bree just dyed my hair an amazing copper and I am obsessed!!

Excellent professional service from students. It is a reflection of the director instructor Mae? (Spell check). And very courteous service from her husband at front desk as well. A relaxing spa like experience. Always leave calm and very pleased with my hair which is quite difficult to handle!!

Toc Academy is a great place to go especially if you’re on a budget. Everyone was really friendly and patient. Even though they were students, they were able to do my hair with confidence, and they always made sure to communicate with me throughout my appointment. Also, since they were students, they took a longer time to do my hair compared with experienced professionals I’ve gone to in the past so definitely keep that in mind if you’re planning to get your hair bleached and/or coloured.Lastly, I gotta that these women are hella strong! Had two of them working on my hair, and my head would get pulled to one of them then to the other. Made me make a mental note to never mess with the people who do my hair haha.

We came in with a round brush emergency and the staff at TOC was amazing. They had such patience and determination to salvage her hair. They were able to solve the problem and we appreciated it so much. Thank you again TOC!!

I've been to a few different hair colleges in the city and none have compared to TOC. My stylist Bree was fast, professional, and did an amazing job. I have gone to professional salons and had worse cuts and service than what I had received here. I absolutely will be returning in the future.

I recently graduated from TOC and had an amazing experience. Every educator here has so much to offer and teach and is happy to do so. Positive, comfortable environment where students can thrive; my lead educator continues to check in on my career progress and help however she can. Lots of love for this school!

If you're looking for an exceptional hair school with in depth training and lots of hands on learning, I would 100% recommend TOC. I was able to obtain a salon job as soon as I graduated, and have been applauded for showing confidence and having an advanced skill set for someone at my level. Of course, this was all thanks to the incredible instructors at this school. They ensure that each student gets the training they need to be successful in the hair industry, not only teaching the licensing requirements, but going above and beyond in teaching hair the salon way, as well as customer service, business, and much more. I took the 1400 Hour course and really loved that it gave me a chance to work on actual clients while being instructed on how to work with a real person properly. Learning advanced styles and techniques was also a great bonus. The best school, the best instructors, and the best training. Thank you Mai, Tai, Bea, Argie, and Billy for 10 wonderful months.

I had such a fun time coming in! David, Darby, and Jiena worked their butts off bleaching my hair, and the end result is so pretty!! I was so welcomed and pampered there that I already miss them. Prices are quite affordable and well worth it.
