For years my husband & I have shopped at Pet Value in Arnprior. The service has been excellent the majority of the time. Then last year when I had shopped at P.V as usual, I was received poorly at the front cash by two sales ladies busy talking to each other. They barely responded to me when I asked politely if they could could take my order which amounted to $ 300 total (not a skimpy order). I didn't even receive any thanks when I paid and was handed my bag. The ladies returned to their chat ignoring me as I left the store...I was reluctant to return to Pet Value this year. But I always give chances regardless of any situation. What I noticed when I entered the store early this year was a complete change of attitude in the service! The staff were welcoming,this time, friendly and courteous. I love to support our local businesses, so I was pleased to see the service now had improved tremendously.Today for example, I was greeted on the telephone by a charming staff person. Her name is Stephanie. She reflects on what I believe is the perfect representation of my impression on how to conduct service with clients in-house or by telephone. It only takes a few kind words and gestures to change a client's perspective on service and respect. Now that my new experience with Pet Value is more of a positive one, I am certain to return to continue shopping...

I have always received good professional service. The staff take the time to learn your pets likes and needs. They are able to then guide you through different products and prices. The return policy is good and oftentimes samples available.

Helpful staff, fair prices and always willing to help local rescues anyway they can.

Joan grooms our shitzu at pet value who I may add is 100% blind...she always has lots of patience even though he makes it very apparent that his has ran out.

We got the hamster ball we were looking for. Pet food and treats or suppli s of any kind seem way over priced compared with their big box competition. Maybe if the had comparable prices and a rewards program we might buy more there than we do.

Great local pet shop. Staff are fantastic. Always offer exceptional service, knowledge and they help you find just what you need. Will be back.

Most amazing customer service I have ever had! Dana and Sarah were absolutely phenomenal with helping me exchange food that my dog didn't like. I truly felt valued as a customer and that they really wanted to help my dog.

The staff and selection are fantastic! They really seem to care about our fur babies.
