Had some time to kill before our ferry to Vancouver and ended up at this park. The town was so quiet in thanksgiving day, no stores were open except the subway. Loved all the murals, there are signs to follow to cover all the murals.

A very picturesque park with a working waterwheel. So many beautiful things to see in Chemainus, you must spend the day checking the town out.

Love Chemainus and this park. We brought our food and had a nice breakfast there. Then after a walk around the park and the city. Love the murals.

A small town full of historical mural arts with talented artists performing live music all day long during summer time by the Water Wheel Park. It's used to be a popular touring place but not anymore... Great for photo taking though, if you have time.

It’s nice but could’ve been better. Some arts are amazing whereas are just the historical for the time being. I don’t see the reason why it’s world renowned for it’s creativity or colour. It’s not breathtaking, so don’t get your hopes high if you’ve amazed by the Asian murals.

Relaxing little park in the heart of Artisanal mural town Chemainus. Historical park with homage to the Coast Salish, logging and maritime history of the community. The park connects New Town and the Old Town sections of the community and its shopping, cafes and businesses. There is a brand new walking labyrinth maze by the Rotary Club and Mural society. This adds to the bandshell that has free music and performances all summer. There are carved murals, Waterwheel relics and a boat structure for kids to play on.Adjacent to the park is a public washroom, museum and visitor centre. Ample parking , wheelchair accessible and even electric car charging. In he evenings the trees of the park are nicely lit up.

The cherry blossom trees were gorgeous!! So was the water wheel! However, it's not much of a park more of a sit down place in the middle of a small town. The shops and museum were all closed due to covid.
