Canadian Tire

Disappointed trying to buy air and cabin filters for 2 cars. Computer in the aisle told me to visit the parts counter as there were none in the aisle. Parts counter was a ghost town. Someone did show up and advised the computer in the aisle has been acting up for a month. He kindly looked up the numbers and wrote them down and directed me back to the aisle. Cabin filter was out of stock. Tried to find the others but no luck. Canadian Tire used to be the go to place for auto parts. It's a sad shadow of the former excellent auto parts supplier.

I do enjoy shopping and buying things at this Canadian Tire. They frequently have sales and I enjoy the size of the store and the variety. I have bought plants for the home n garden too. I have not taken my car for service there. I also have returned some items and did not have any issues.

This store almost always has what I need at a decent price. BAG CHECK. New owners as of last fall. Now require you to check in your bags. A lot of smaller stores have it. Closed bags I understand. But WHY AN OPEN WAGON. I was shopping with it and you can see thru it like a shopping cart. But “store policy” states that as well needs to check that. What I REALLY don’t appreciate is being FOLLOWED until I checked it. You guys seem to be VERY worried about shoplifting. This economy. Small objects. Maybe the customers aren’t the problem. Especially being in a rush and shopping with all this happening. I’d suggest checking yourselves because I don’t appreciate this. I actually felt like I was almost being profiled. And another ethnicity will accuse you of it. This is BS. NO OTHER BIG STORE DOES THIS!!!!!

I feel untrusted at the cash register. I bought nuts and bolts (you write down the item numbers and quantities on a plastic bag) and the person at the cash register did not accept the quantity I wrote down. She had to count each item to confirm I wasn't stealing anything. Of course I wasn't. I miss the old Canadian Tire where they trusted their customers.

Very nice and spacious hardware store. Neat and clean. Friendly staff. Kiosk to locate the the required item within the store is awesome.Garden Centre had a great variety of flower plants.

This new no backpack policy is ridiculous. It's inconvenient when your backpack is a diaper bag for your baby who is shopping with you, which also serves as a place to hold your car keys, wallet and phone. I have been a longtime loyalty customer who also has a CT Mastercard. I am cancelling this card and no longer shopping because of the experience I had. I walked in with my baby and diaper bag. Passed multiple employees who didn't say a word to me. Proceeded to fill my cart with items I needed only to be told that I had to leave the store with the backpack but I could come back in for my items. I decided to leave and I will not be returning. I understand that theft is on the rise; however, maybe you should hire a security officer at the exit like superstore has now done.

Got noise cancelling headphones for the kid and it was not fitting and returned it with a receipt. No issues. Was about to buy knee pads for the kid, found Walmart had a lower price, asked for a price match, sadly they said no. They could start doing a price match.

I just got home from having 4 new tires installed. I was told I need a wheel alignment as it is recommended when getting new tire. Great but it was just done a month or so again does it need it I asked? Yes but if you had it done within 10 000 km or 100 days there is no cost. For some reason they couldn't find the work they had just done in their system and the paper work I had was in the glove box at the shop. When I got there I took the paper work into the store with me. After saying ok 3 times to the wheel alignment if it needed it the work was not done. I was then informed they just recommend the wheel alignment with the new tire but didn't actually check the status of the wheel alignment. So I asked to confirm if they were recommend paying for work on the car without even checking if it needed the work done and I was told yes this is what happened. So to be clear THEY RECOMMEND I PAY TO HAVE WORK ON THE CAR WITHOUT CHECKING TO SEE IF THE CAR NEEDED THE WORK. So I have 4 new tires on my car and it may or may not need a wheel alignment.

Hi I was here today having an oil change. I did not have an appointment so I expected an hour or more. I have been here many times never under 2 hours even with appointment. Anyway I could see my car was done and I said to the young fellow my car is done I would like to pay and go. He said there will be a wait for paperwork have a seat. I did after 20 minutes I could see a few people getting their cars checked out. After 30 minutes I asked the guy again and the car was ready. So think you need to do a better job of speeding up that process. Thanks Will still come back as work is always good. Thank you
