St. Catharines Marina - Port Weller

A nice 5k hike out to the lighthouse on easy trails with many birds to see.

Neat and clean. Very basic Marina with an on site boat store and fuel. Quiet location, but very out of the way location. Poorly lit at night.

This was a welcome stop after travelling through the Welland Canal from Port Colborne. We were lucky that there was one large slip available for us across from the fuel dock. We entered just as daylight was fading and we're aware of the skinny water in the area. Luckily with this year's high water we had no problem with our 6 ft draft.We made our way to the slip and spent only one night as we were travelling on to Bath.The facilities were clean and secure with great showers. The small chandlery in the marina had what looked like anything you needed for boating. It was open early and looked after our fee for the night's accommodation.We were underway before we had a chance to meet any of the facility staff but it was a nice stay.

Spent the day fishing with the Niagara Fish Assassins. We had a lot of fun and caught a lot of fish. I highly recommend these guys!!!

Looking forward to spring, those red and green buoys are standing guard amidst the ice, ready to  guide the first ships into the Lock One of the Welland Ship Canal!

Do any of you casual fisherman launch here regularly to fish the bar or lower Niagara? Do you get seasonal launch passes/can you launch early?

Excellent Marina, better staff. Greg and Chris are very caring people who show the utmost respect. Amazing customer service and everyone is approachable and helpful. The location is beautiful and only a few minutes to the Niagara River. I strongly recommend this marina for boating and they have a nice campground community too.
