Service non existent, the don't leave the cash and knowledge definitely iffy. I went in once with my pug to get a new sweater and no one paid her any attention, I was shocked... I worked at Bark n Fitz years ago downtown and NEVER had we EVER ignored a dog. I only go to this store in a pinch the Larry Utek store is 100% better for service and knowledge.

Used the self serve dog wash for the first time. Mel was very friendly and they explained everything and helped me get setup. The dog washing station was clean and functional. There were several shampoos to pick from and I picked the oatmeal one and my puppy smells great and is so soft! Will return again.

The selection is nice but I wasn't happy with the service that I received. The staff were too concerned with talking about the things that they had to do rather than helping me. They ignored me while they processed my transaction, talking amongst themselves. I said goodbye and told them to have a nice day, only to be ignored. I definitely won't be back to this location.

Staff is normally pleasant but that was not the case today. I fell and hurt my leg so I pulled up in front of the store my children ran in to grab the items and the staff were upset I pulled up in front of the store. I had someone else with me as well who went in to buy fish food items and they said the staff was talking about someone because she didn't know how to walk her dog. I think perhaps the Sunday staff needs better customer service skills.

I have been a customer at the Bedford Pet Valu for several years, and I can tell you that I have rarely ever been treated as well by a business as I have by the employees at this location. They never fail to be friendly and will go way above and beyond in their service to customers. They help me transport my purchases out to my car and try to find the best possible discounts on my purchases. They are second-to-none, and I would no longer even consider purchasing from another (closer) location.On a final note, their pet food line, Performatrin, is high quality at an attractive price point. My felines are thriving on the grain-free canned varieties.

Brought our dog there for a bath after picking her up from 5 days at the kennel. What a convenient service. Self wash with all the right grooming equipment! So much better than leaning over a tub or using a garden hose! Skylar still didn't like it, but we found it glorious!
