Condie Nature Refuge
Nice little spot close to town to take the kids. There's fish in the lake although I've never caught any. The bathrooms aren't very nice and you need to cook with briquettes. No open fires

Quiet, out of the traffic area. Nice barbecue pits. Could use a cleaning. But we came prepared for that problem!! Must bring your own wTer for washing hands, dishes , drinking , ect. Should be sprayed for mosquitoes!!

Condie Nature Refuge
Unfortunately the Condie Nature Refuge is a mere shadow of its former self. I fondly remember the mini-natural-history-museum on the south shore and the giant wood teepee on the north shore of the reservoir. All of the nature preserve information signs detailing the original teepee ring(s) rock configurations have been vandalized beyond recognition. It's such a shame that a few narrow minded individuals could so thoroughly destroy such a fragile eco-reserve, and in doing so, unwittingly deprive so many future generations from the enjoyment of experiencing nature in a pristine environment! :-(

good place to visit. Only drawback is I can clearly hear the gun shot from nearby range.
