What a great experience, booked our corporate holiday dinner at Blu Ristorante. Yes this review is a bit late coming but people are still raving about the impeccable service especially from their friendly and knowledgeable staff (Mauricio, Luis, David and Nasir - I made sure I wrote down their names for this review)! Do yourself a favour and make sure you make it here at least once because the food was amazing, from the appetizer to dessert. I didn't get a picture of the all the options but these ones still bring back the memories of our night at Blu. Thanks to all the staff, and a shout out to Kamila (Event Coordinator) and Jeff (Manager).

Indoor and outdoor is open and both are very nice! We had 4 dishes between two people. Their non alcoholic drinks are very good!!

Wonderful restaurant and food never disappoints. Been here 4 times so far. Highly recommend the beef carpaccio. Wish they had a longer cocktail list since right now the options are limited.

Friendly service and great vibe! We sat on the patio and it started to rain so they moved us inside and we were glad they did! The restaurant had live music inside and the musician was amazing. Food was great and we recommend the ribeye and carpaccio but all of the food that we had at our table of 5 was great! Highly recommend!

had a marvelous time here — the atmosphere was good, the food excellent and the panna cotta the best I’ve ever had. The staff here is very professional and our server Louis (sorry for possibly misspelling his name) is one of the kindest, funniest, and friendliest person I’ve ever met. Absolutely recommend!

Came here for my anniversary.Right now, Blu is my favorite Italian restaurant in Toronto.The waiter was calm and polite, the ambience was lovely, the food was exceptional.I’ve gone back 3 more times because I love it so much.My partner and I ordered 3 plates of Pasta with a glass of wine. We really enjoyed the meal and had some takeaway.Ratings:Food - 11/10Service- 10/10Ambience - 9/10Overall - 10/10.I will greatly recommend this place to anyone who wants some nice Italian food! Absolutely love it !

A friend booked this for my birthday and I really enjoyed my experience here. The waitstaff were wonderful and the food was amazing. We ordered two appetizers - a pear salad and an eggplant dish. The salad was phenomenal but the eggplant dish was quite small in portion. For our mains we both ordered the special - crab ravioli in spicy rosé sauce and we were not disappointed. Would definitely come here for a romantic date. I've heard there is sometimes live music, but we did not hear any when we went (on a Saturday).

Dined in on New Year’s Eve, and enjoyed a fabulous evening filled with delicious, good looking plates and great drinks. We loved the festive atmosphere. The live music wasn’t too loud, just perfectly enjoyable. The staff was very attentive and responsive. We couldn’t have been happier with our experience.

Great experience. Came with a group of 8 for a celebratory dinner with the summerlicious menu. Service was very attentive & patient, waiting for all members to show up before we order food. All courses were brought out simultaneously & they were full of flavour, hot & presented well. It was a nice night out in a beautiful location & I would return again for regular menu.

Overall 2/5, WOULD NOT RECOMMENDFood 5/5My friend got the seafood linguine and I got the Grilled Rack of Lamb with Risotto. The food was really good and fillingAmbience 2/5It was super loud downstairs. We couldn’t hear each other and we were placed next to a large groupService 0/5Had it not be cold outside, I would’ve walked out without eating. We were met with the most unwelcoming, almost disrespectful staff:1. We were sat next to a loud table so we asked if the server could ask the group to be more considerate. He proceeded to tell us that he could not bother customers during a meal. We then asked if we could be moved to seat farther so that we could enjoy our dinner and hear each other. He still declined while we noticed that there was a lot of space and free seating upstairs. (We realized later that the server’s motivation was: he wouldn’t get to service us if we’re moved upstairs, he would’ve lost our tab.). We asked that server to escalate it to the manager because it was simply unbearable and the manager instructed to server to move us somewhere quieter.2. We were hesitating between three bottles of wine. The server explained to us the different options but I typically like to taste before choosing. We asked if we could taste the options presented to us. The server declined. We later asked if we could at least taste to choose between two options (in case three was excessive). He still told us off in a very rude manner. He told us that this was not a wine tasting experience and that restaurants don’t offer to taste between wines before choosing. (That’s so false, I’ve been to several places that allowed me to try multiple wines when I was indecisive before choosing my bottle.). We were already sat and order our food so we proceeded to randomly select one of the bottles.Overall, the establishment was rude and unwelcoming, the staff was condescending and it was as if they were doing us a favor to host us. Do better. You will not be seeing me there again.
