Superior Home Bakery
Was disappointed. No Apple on the Apple fritter., was also burnt on the edges, was more like an overcooked plain glazed donut. Definitely not the best in Canada or Sault Ste. Marie for that matter. Pastry on the tarts was overworked and too heavy. The fillings were all quite nice. Not sure who is doing the baking but majority of the treats were identical to M&M meats desserts.Customer Service is bad. Lady helping me treated me like I was wasting her time by getting a selection.No worries though she will not see me again, I will not be returning to this bakery.

Same experience as the previous review.Once beautiful stuff gone downhill.Sugar donuts not the same size or taste. Beware - Italian Peaches had Cool Whip in them. Not cool and overpriced.

Four stars for the fritter. Enormous and delicious. Was a bit crisp on the bottom, and could have used more apple but man was that a good fritter !

Another depressing place in Sault Ste Misery. They don’t take cake orders. Beware, this is not the same place you remember going to previously. Last time I was in the shop, they couldn’t get their payment systems to work. Run by a multimillionaire hockey player yet they had the nerve to complain to me that they can’t afford to buy ingredients for a cake and the lady wouldn’t stop droning on about how hard it is to run a business. I’m not your therapist, just a customer!

Staff is friendly but bread not what it was before new owners bought it. The light rye is definitely sub standard compared to the way it used to taste.Fritters are massive. One is too big even for 2 people unless you really want to chow down on apple fritter. It's a meal.

Great selection of fresh baked goods, as well as excellent sandwiches to go. I am rarely in The Soo, but make a point of stopping in every time I’m in town or passing through. I don’t know of a better apple fritter anywhere. Delicious and gigantic!
