Richmond Castle
A nice castle with a museum inside. The staff at the box office were very friendly and gave us a clear instructions and a brief introduction of the castle. The museum also provides interesting facts about the castle and Richmond.

Richmond Castle
Well maintained English Heritage site. Tickets can be bought online or in the shop. The exhibits were very informative and the castle tower was fun to explore. Be careful with parking in town though, we did not see a pay station and were ticketed:(

Large castle to explore with amazing views from the top of the castles main tower. Museum. On sites gives history of the castle through the years.

Very tiring walking up the hills to the castle, then up all the steps.But, the views are spectacular of the surrounding areas.Well worth a visit.Even our dogs went up with us

Richmond Castle
Went into the Castle to see Richmond from the top of the tower. Great views of the town! The Castle was worth a visit plenty of nooks and crannies to explore! Only negative point was in the rooms in the tower there are pigeons flying around inside, you can expect that as the doorways and windows are open spaces but they could sweep the floorboards as they have a lot of bird muck to avoid walking in! But still an enjoyable visit!

Richmond Castle
Richmond is a lively quaint town. Very old buildings surround a ruined castle. You able to walk around castle wall for free. Lots of individual shops.....a must is the gelato lesso shop ....32 to choose from, as well as light lunches.

Richmond Castle
A great castle, very big. Can spend a good couple of hours looking around - good fun for children and children at heart like me. Definitely will be visiting again!

Parked up in Richmond in the market place maximum stay 2 hours had a walk round and a bit to eat the called in the castle with limited time a lot of steps to the top of the tower but the view was worth itWe will revisit with more time to spend there is a car park outside the castle for English heritage members but only about 4 spaces

The castle & it’s current exhibit upstairs are clearly very well thought out.The information dotted around the castle grounds was easy to understand, comprehensive and helpful.The staff were sweet & attentive, were sure to check that we had had a good time. The gift shop is nice, classically for a gift shop it’s a bit expensive but has lots of nice items.I will definitely be visiting again!
