This family run business is truly an intimate shared experience when it comes time to deal with this most difficult time. The staff are there step by step and share with you all the time you need to make all the decisions you need to make or change. The staff are so patient and caring,they take so much off your plate when it comes to paperwork and forms they do it all I made so many changes to the obituary alone and they are so so understanding. They go above and beyond to make every last wish come true for the final time to say goodbye to a loved one. Sadly we laid my mom to rest 2 yrs ago and I couldnt make decisions to quickly and sat undecided for quite along tome and they were so accommodating patient and understanding. Very reputable business and if I may add that the cost of a funeral is very very expensive and out of several inquiries throughout Oshawa. We again chose to use this funeral home for all the above reasons as alot of our family and friends have been laid to rest through their xare and they are by far the less expensive than many of the other funeral homes in Oshawa the quote i received is a detailed itemized list no hidden costs at the end of the day. 100% recommend using this funeral home to have your last goodbye with your loved one.

Sandi was the funeral director that handled everything for us; she was kind, compassionate, accommodating and very responsive to requests and questions. Sandi and the rest of the staff were very helpful during a difficult time that was made even worse by COVID restrictions. While this is not a service I want to have to use again, if I do, I will definitely choose Armstrong.

Debbie Armstrong assisted our family with the arrangements for my mother's services and the entire experience was wonderful. During this difficult time Debbie provided the right recommendations and took care of all the details. We have family in Germany and they were able to watch the service via webcast in real time. Everything was perfect. Thank you so much for a perfect service.

We just laid my dad to rest after a long battle with cancer. Debbie, Steve and team took my elderly mother under their wing. Step by step they walked us through the process of preparing for the funeral. We were so well taken care of and felt such peace and comfort. This is a well trusted, generational run family business. Recently used their services & the staff made all the difference!! Excellent service!I would like to thank Alison the receptionist especially for providing me with a Rosary for my mother in law to be laid to rest with. Her continuous support and direction was amazing. That girl makes things happen & we appreciated her greatly.Secondly the lady that helped out as a hostess at our reception was so efficient and amazing!! Beautiful older Betty but she was everywhere when needed making sure my guests had an abundance of selection available.Can't thank you all enough.I also want to thank the immediate funeral planning staff for their patience and support in helping us comfortably plan the day. *They also helped with all government forms shortly after the funeral*Truly amazing service !!

This review is long overdue. I would not recommend Armstrong funeral home to anyone. My Father wanted to go there. I tried fulfilling his wishes. I dealt with Brent the funeral director. Unfortunately due to his ignorance this funeral home gave away my father’s ashes to a stranger. Sadly I have never been able to get them back nor could I afford to sue this funeral home. Also, i had one of their staff members approach me in a public place and ask me how I was doing… i was honest with her and told her how upset I was. She went on to blab everything about the situation in the middle of a restaurant. So not professional or confidential. I would advise people to think twice before using their services.

The care and concern that I was shown at this funeral home was totally amazing .I cannot find the words to express the gratitude I feel. Every member of the staff treated me with such compassion at a time when my grief was overwhelming . Thank you to everyone, especially Debbie for being so wonderful, kind and caring.

We dealt with Sarah Rynbeek for a memorial service for my parents. Both had passed away in the previous year and this was a service for both of them at the same time. The assistance we received was excellent. Sarah helped with arranging all details for the service and this was all done in a professional manner. The service was extremely well done and we had so many positive comments from our family and friends. I would highly recommend Armstrong Funeral Home.

Debbie and her Staff at Armstrong did an incredible job for our family members' passing. They are flexible and very helpful especially since we never had to organize a funeral before. Debbie is very attentive and was able to help with any last minute changes and in such a short period of time no less!The funeral home is beautiful and they did an amazing job making our loved one as handsome as he was in life. Incredible people and incredible work.

We've had to use their services quite a few times and we keep coming back because they are amazing. they are very professional and respectful and would even anticipate things and do them before they happened. what was really great was that they were sensitive to our family drama and kept everything professional which made things a lot easier.
