Amazing customer service. They have everything we needed for projects in our home. Chris, the owner, takes the time to ensure my vision comes to fruition. All of his staff are just as informative and helpful.We had a lumber emergency a few weeks back and they made sure the pieces I needed were delivered to my house in less than two hours to be able to finish the project.They have also helped us with ordering unique hinges and oddly shaped counters we need for our commercial business. I really appreciate their hands on approach, well worth the visit.

Handley lumber has such knowledgeable and friendly staff. Chris is like a walking encyclopedia when it comes to anything to do with home repairs and maintenance and I can’t even imagine what I would have done without their expertise for our home renovation. You can tell they’ve spent a lot of time curating the store to stock high quality items at good prices so you can trust what you buy.

Stay away unless you have unlimited money. EVERYTHING is over priced. Unless you are really stuck for something you are better to go to Coboconk to get supplies or Lindsay or Jermyn Lumber in Bobcaygeon. And they know they are overpriced but do not care.

Ordered $600. of building supplies, wasn't able to go in store because of Corona" needed to exchange something for a different size

Just a heads up to customers looking for EXCELLENT SERVICE..I'm from out of town and went to Lindsay to purchase some lumber at Rona after discussing what l needed the girl tells * ( we don't cut lumber) what ?? ( we will cut it in half only ) so it will fit in your car ..What ??Called Home Hardware in Lindsay the building centre guess what same thing *(we don't cut lumber to size..again What..? This is ridiculous it's like going to McDonald's and they don't sell fries..Imagine a Lumber store that doesn't cut lumber .What a Joke.Called Handley spoke with Mike and ( no problem, Drove over and in 20 minutes purchased my Lumber and had it cut to size .EXCELLENT SERVICE EXCELLENT PEOPLE, they knocked it out of the park ..Wake up Rona & Home Hardware. This isn't 1969 customers expect service not excuses. Maybe its me a Lumber store not cutting Lumber l guess l could be wrong ..NOPE I'm ✅,right great job Handley .guess what I'm telling my friends and neighbors Rona & Home Hardware. Renovations can be an nightmare. Frustrated in our search for materials we started to look outside our immediate area. We were able to find some items from Handley Lumber that we could not get in our area or the big box stores. Their over the phone service, in store service and delivery was exceptional. Even though it was a bit of a drive and we paid a bit more for a few items it worth our time and saved our reno. Highly recommend this store.

It only takes one person to make your experience bad and that’s what happened to us. Staff in store were great then we went out to pick up lumber. Dealing with two people and they were awesome then another showed up and he made the whole experience terrible. We were picking out some lumber for furniture so we asked if we could select straight pcs. Lot attendant was great and said no problem as long as we put everything back. Of course we said. Many of the pcs were warped or cracked so we started selecting what we needed. Lot attendant was with us the entire time. With one more piece to go another person showed up with a significant attitude. He made a negative comment about us selecting our wood and just stood there watching every move we made with a wicked look on his face. Then he wanted our receipt and looked that over. All this while the lot attendant was there us. Just made us feel bad. Because you are a small business it shouldn’t give you the right to treat customers as you please. Your attitude was disgusting. I will never go back and my view of Handley is very negative.
