Don't shop here especially for clothing. Went there on a quick spring break trip and bought some pj's. This is March 2022 (after covid restrictions) no reason for fitting rooms to be closed but they were. Tried to return the item the next day as I didn't like the fit and she said exchange only" really???? On clothing when you can't try them on? Then I noticed most of the shops on Goverment St. will not take returns. What kind of friendly policy is that? Especially when they sell clothes you can't try on. When I asked her why she wouldn't give me my money back she had no reply. No way to treat tourists."

If you're looking for touristy gift stuff you can't go wrong here.There's tons of shirts, hats, knickknacks, toys, you-name-its.Reasonable prices too.

They have a lot of overpriced dollar store Canada Day souvenirs. I wanted a key chain that said Victoria, BC on it and they didn't carry it. Also, the post cards were expensive too.

Excellent value, excellent selection. My son had a budget for souvenirs, and he found something for all of his friends within budget. The store was clean and bright. We got t-shirts, key rings, stickers, a ball cap, and a jacket that my husband did not need but could not pass up at that price. Lots of indigenous framed prints in the basement, stuffed animals, wallets...everything from $2 items to larger more expensive items. But this is the store to go to.

Has a very large Selection, 2 floors to the store! Anything you think of for souvenirs they have, a little pricey but great large selection

Bought some stuffed animals on the weekend and was overcharged by $20. Thought the price was high at the time, and should have questioned it then. Tried to go back on Sunday and the store was not open, despite hours posted saying it was. Tried calling again Monday several times, and no one picked up, despite posted hours once again claiming the store was open.

Do not buy anything from this store. We purchased a bunch of items including a red shirt and a bottle opener. We never received the items OR the receipt.I then called the store and the manager yelled at me and hung up on me. She called me a liar and refused to refund the price of the two items—saying that I made it up and that we have the items. This was AFTER I told her that we were no longer in Canada. We never received our receipts so we have no proof of our purchases; however, she refused to look up the purchase order on the computer because she knows that this would prove her wrong.DO NOT BUY ANYTHING FROM THIS STORE. THEY DO NOT GIVE YOU YOUR ITEMS AND KEEP THE RECEIPTS AND FAIL TO PROVIDE CUSTOMER SERVICE.Whoever the owner of this shop is, you should note the behavior of this employee. Why is she the manager? She might be stealing from your customers or reselling items. Have you done inventory lately? Absolutely horrible.

The manager/owner was very inappropriate towards me when I went here for a job interview. I will no longer be patronizing this business. His comments to be were not appreciated or okay and I get the feeling he likes to intimidate young women and that I’m not the only one he has done it to. Also- the products are very overpriced. I’d much rather support Indigenous-owned businesses and there are many in the area.

Why does the old blonde manager tell all the staff to physically chain-off the downstairs and tell customers they cannot shop downstairs during normal business hours?? Store employees should not be closing the store early! Either change your posted business hours, or stay open like your sign says! We made plans to shop after dinner, and we're told by both girls in the picture that the downstairs was closed. We asked the old blonde manager when she finally came upstairs, and she said she tells them to close it early!

Recommended! They have a limited supply of big and tall shirts and sweatshirts.While visiting Victoria on a cruise, I bought a few items from this gift shop. They had a limited section with bigger sizes (4XL and 5XL) downstairs. They also had clearance items and I'm always up for a bargain so I decided to buy a few things. The various staff were friendly and helpful.
