Smitty's Family Restaurant and Lounge
I took myself out for dinner and had the AAA Steak, potatoes, gravy, and vegetables yesterday. The steak was cooked perfectly, the mashed potatoes were super smooth, the vegetables tasted amazing, and the gravy was the best! I also had some soda and a sundae brownie dessert, it was all great! I had fantastic service from Caitlyn M. And the man at the front desk who I assume was the manager was also super nice and helpful! My compliments to the chefs as well! Overall amazing experience and would recommend going by yourself or with a group! Very good food for a very reasonable price!

Smitty's Family Restaurant and Lounge
Good food, friendly staff, sunny and warm. Hope your server is Taryn at Smitty's. She is the best. Try the watermelon mojito...so refreshing!We were served many times recently by Mel. She remembers your last drink, your name and face and always greets you with the warmest smile. We return to this location on Pembina because the service is top notch. Thanks Mel!

Smitty's Family Restaurant and Lounge
Came after Blue Bomber's last preseason game. Arrived just after 10pm. Smitty's has a restaurant and lounge area. We sat in the restaurant area it was not too crowded. Lounge and outdoor seating was crowded but not too full.Was greeted and seated by the friendliest of waitresses!!!Hannah B. was the BOMB! From seating, ordering, to paying she was pleasant, attentive and funny to boot!The food was great! 2-Cheeseburgers and fries, beer and Pepsi.Definitely would recommend.Started eating before I snapped a picture!!

Smitty's Family Restaurant and Lounge
We both had the beef dip and mashed potatoes- was a great choice of a meal. The mashed potatoes were cooked perfectly - nicely blended. The beef sandwich came with au jus that had an onion flavour to it - was quite nice. Hadn't been to Smitty's in a few years. Very happy we went back. Parking lot was very full - the lounge was busier than the restaurant on a friday evening. Could use more parking space at this location. Our server was attentive and friendly. Would go back again. Always liked the all day breakfast feature at Smitty's. Thanks for a great meal.

We very much like going there for breakfast. The staff is friendly and kind. The food is great. To be perfect, we want to drink lattes and cappuccino. Would you please have these options in your menu? And add soy milk, almond milk, coconut milk, and oat milk? Thank you!

Lovely family restaurant! Great wait staff! Kind, friendly, and efficient. On the dish I ordered, the portion was smaller than other comparable restaurants. Few T.V.'s and quiet music: great for the family. Good experience!

Smitty's Family Restaurant and Lounge
Not the largest parking lot, limited parking even at 930 on a Friday night.The restaurant wasn't super busy but the lounge looked more happening.The booths are comfortable and clean. The service was friendly and good. The service was decently fast. The food was hot.We had the roasted beef dip with mashed potatoes and gravy. The potatoes were excellent, great taste, texture and decent amount.The beef dip had an excellent fresh bun. The meat was niether dry or greasy. The au jus had a nice flavour, reminded me of onion soup more than traditional beef drippings.I did regret not bringing a sweater since it was a little on the cool side.The price was decent and portions were pretty good.We will come back.

Smitty's Family Restaurant and Lounge
This location doesn't have the best parking in the front. Behind the restaurant there is plenty of parking. Once in the restaurant, very clean and friendly staff. There was plenty of room and lots of natural light. Our server was just awesome. She was engaging and friendly and really bubbly. She took an active interest in what we wanted to eat and made suggestions as well. We took all her suggestions and weren't disappointed. The washrooms were clean with lots of room. The menu had changed since we were here last, but had a very easy and appealing layout. The prices were a little higher than we last remembered, but in this economy I can understand.
