Lakeside Luxury Domes

We had booked a dome at Lakeside Luxury for a friends birthday and it was the perfect getaway! They had everything we could’ve needed on site to make it easier for us to kick back and relax with the most amazing view of the lake.We will definitely be booking again!

Had such a great time at Lakeside luxury domes! Amazing spot on the beach, can't beat starting the day in the hot tub with a coffee watching the fog clear on the water! Will definitely be back in the future, thanks so much!!

We stayed at Lakeside Luxury Domes on a weekend that was foggy & raining but nonetheless the stay was still amazing. Sitting in the dome, listening to the rain was so relaxing while we ate our charcuterie board from local Devour Cheese & Meats and we were able to enjoy the hot tub as well which topped it off! It was a much needed getaway. Everything you needed was supplied and Stacey was great to chat with for any questions I had. Highly recommend!

Had a lovely two-night stay here! Was greeted by a deer as we pulled into the property and we were pleasantly surprised with how nice the dome and furnishings were once we got inside. Everything we needed for our stay was there and the private hot tub was a nice bonus for unwinding at the end of a long day. The hosts were very responsive to questions and request for service on the hot tub too.One of the very few geodesic dome rentals I was able to find on Cape Breton Island that allowed for four people and I’m glad we landed here — would recommend!

We had a wonderful stay at Lakeside Luxury Domes! This was our second time visiting and it won’t be our last. From all the decor, comfortable bed and well thought items included, they did not miss anything. They made our stay to be the most peaceful and enjoyable. Dome 3 has a beautiful view of the water and is very private. Highly recommend!!

We recently had the wonderful experience of staying at the Lakeside Luxury Domes and cannot say enough about the fabulous time we had. The domes had every amenity you could think of- from private hot tub, BBQ, bath robes, coffee. Absolutely awesome location on the shores of the Bras D'or Lakes. We went with several other couples, all good friends and had the best of good times; many beautiful memories made! Top notch, we're giving this place a 5 star rating.Blair & Jean

The property is absolutely gorgeous! The domes furnishings, decor and amenities are high quality and the nicest imaginable. The domes are extremely clean and are fully equipped which makes packing so much easier. The view is breathtaking!!!There were a few downsides. We stayed on Good Friday and would have liked to be warned that you were not permitted to cook fish inside the dome. Luckily, there was some tinfoil and we were able to cook it on the BBQ. However, it was freezing and very windy, which inturn made for very low flames.There are a LOT of rules! We understand that rules are required. However, we felt like we had to watch our every move as we were scared we would not be following a rule...no cooking of fish, if you arrive any time before 3 or leave after 10 , you are charged $25, you have to park your car a certain way and it's very specific-you have to park parallel to the dome, with the drivers door facing the dome, and the rules went on. It just felt a little uncomfortable, like Big Brother was watching with hefty fines on the line.The whole property is stunning, we will stay again! We just wish the rules were a little less harsh!

I had such an amazing stay at Lakeside Luxury Domes!Walking on the wonderful beach, skipping rocks and watching the coolest sunset! The dome had everything I needed for an amazing home cooked meal.Can’t wait to go back!

We recently had our first experience at LLD and everything was perfect! The attention to detail was what I was most impressed with: from having a touch light in the bathroom, a tray of ready to use ice cubes in the freezer, and don’t forget “the good” toilet paper! There was even a battery powered lantern in the cupboard to use when walking around at night. And when Mother Nature decided to dump 15cms of snow on us overnight, staff were on the go very early to make sure our steps were cleared and we were plowed out! We were so impressed! It may have only been our first experience, but it definitely won’t be our last! Thank you LLD!

The dome experience at Lakeside was amazing! They think of everything. Practically sitting on the lake, watching fish jumping etc... whirlpool was amazing and private. I could literally live in one of these and I highly recommend the experience to anyone!
