Sapporo Ramen Shogun Restaurant
Not that authentic kind of ramen but it's okay we still enjoyed it. The gyoza was sadly horrible, cold, and no taste at all. The crew was friendly tho. The owner is korean as well as the service crew so I think the owners must switch to korean resto instead to fully utilize their talents in cooking rather mixing korean and japanese cuisine.

This place would make a great episode of Ramsay's Kitchen Nightmares. The service was so slow despite not being busy, and the was food so bad that we decided not to leave a tip. Instead of asking what went wrong, the owner started to scream at us. Rudest person ever.

The food is not great, the service is slow. And BEFORE paying the owner told us that we were not welcome there, that we should go to the food court if we are not going to tip. He probably confused us with someone else because that was the first time we were there. Obviously not coming back, specially when the owner told us that we were cheap before even paying. We did not ask for discounts or anything. He was rude. I don't know who he thought we were.

Don’t order for pickup here!They mix noodles and soup so it’s not edible after 30 mins. I picked it up after 1 hour and they warned it’s no longer good. Other places separate noodles and broth. They also added too many bean sprouts and other cheap ingredients

This quaint ramen shop's owners are quite friendly and the ramen is tasty. They also serve green tea standard.The atmosphere is comfortable and the service was fast. They DO take discover cards here.The prices were very reasonable for what I got and I would definitely eat here again.

The owners are super friendly. The food was okay. I had a bowl of teriyaki beef miso ramen, and it was not bad. But it was quick though. Like lightning quick. After the staff ran my order in, I pulled out my earbuds and got them connected to my phone immediately. I didn’t even get into the chorus for the first song when a bowl of ramen came to my table. All in all would come back again only if I’m in a rush. I’ll try the fried rice out like other recs next time around.

A great place to have lunch during the week. Had the Chashu Udon, and they gave us complimentary Wonton. Service was extremely friendly, food was great!

I've had the pleasure of eating lunch here a few times now. The service is fantastic and the food even better. The food comes out piping hot, full of flavour and is priced, in my opinion, extremely cheap. Today we even had the owner/chef come out and offer us a rice top up for free.Can't wait to be back

Sapporo Ramen Shogun Restaurant
This is one of Vancouver's oldest Japanese restaurants. I think it's on its' second owner, but the quality is just as great. Large servings reasonable prices. This place is an old reliable. I recommend their Ramen on a cold day. They also have good don" or rice toppings dishes. Their curry is great also."

Sapporo Ramen Shogun Restaurant
I have gone for lunch at Shogun for almost 20 years and can highly recommend it! The restaurant is not fancy, but the ramen has been consistently excellent, despite ownership changes 10 years ago. Current owner husband-and-wife team is hustling to deal with repercussions from the pandemic - the absence of staff and the downtown lunch crowd. I truly hope that the place will be buzzing again soon. My go-to dish is the spicy chicken miso ramen. Absolutely delicious!
