Dr. Shereen is amazing! She will never make you feel rushed and is very responsive to what YOU need. I agree some of the staff are not great (especially the older nurse. She is always on a power trip and so hostile). She is actually awful. But I took the bad with the good as I can’t recommend Dr.Shereen herself enough. She did my fourth c-section not long ago and has a very calming demeanour. Shereen herself is the best doctor.

Zero wait time for appt when I arrived, thorough explanation of condition and treatment. Compassionate, listened. Simply amazing. Reception has been pleasant with all interactions as well. Relieved to have found this doctor.

I had gone into labour and Dr. Shereen was the doctor at the hospital that day. I was going through labour pains and she assured me everything was going to pass and be okay. She hugged me and was also helping me get through my anesthesia that had to get through during my labour pains in order for me to have my cesarean. She was honestly like a mother. Very caring and I felt fine after I had my surgery. I feel like she also performed my surgery well because my recovery was totally different than when I had my first cesarean. She is a great person AND doctor.

Dr. Shereen was an absolute Godsend for me, and I honestly can't say enough about her! She listened patiently to my concerns; never made me feel rushed, and took her time to explain all of my options. She performed my surgery brilliantly and even took the time to visit me in the hospital the next day.

I do not recommend this doctor due to her staff. Doctor is great but her staff have very bad behavior towards not only patient, but all of the patients. Have your family doctor give you any other doctor, but not this.

Highly DONT recommend.Receptionists are always outright rude, wait times are 45-50 minutes for appointments. The doctor starts you from the hallway and back out of her room in less than 5 minutes total. You can ask as many things as you quickly want to, but there is no INFORMATION or INFORMED CHOICE of what is being done to you, they dont ask for preferences. Suggestions only when you ask specifically. Very violating how quickly they go through checks & usher you out without care or consent. There are few OBGYNs in Durham anyway, but unfortunately even that doesnt make this clinic appealing to go to.

The receptionist is full of lies and deception. I don't mind if you chose to be rude but can't stand fabricated words. God save the patients who go there from her falsehood.

IM GOING TO START WITH A NOTE BEFORE MY PERSONAL REVIEW:I noticed a lot of reviews claiming both her and her staff are rude but in all honesty they're just concise. Maybe that's not the type of coddling pregnant/hormonal people want or expect but both the staff and herself maintain a HIGH level of cleanliness and professionalism that a lot of people are not used to. She's a specialist. They don't have to empathize and baby you the way a family Dr or nurse would. THAT BEING SAID i still find her and the receptionists amazing. Sometimes it takes a while to get through to their phone line but that's a product of how the Canadian health system overloads Drs and Specialist within the GTA with patients due to an excessive population to Dr ratio.I've gone to Dr Shereen's for up of 4 years. I have PCOS, fibroids and an ectopic cervix(this one i might be wrong about the name but it's basically an inflamed cervix). She has been extremely thorough with her lab work/follow ups and doing the best she can with supporting me. I do feel sometimes that she's not as attentive to me because I'm not actively trying to have a child because a lot of my visits she does bring that up but in hind sight she is just trying to be proactive with the care she is giving me. If i was going to have a child she would likely prescribe something to help me get there. Currently she prescribes birth control that i don't take and she respects my boundaries as i get extremely sick from hormonal birth control. She also actively gives me tips on how to help my PCOS and cervical trauma through exercise. She does regular 6month check ups on my cervix to make sure nothing is cancerous. She truly does her due diligence as a specialist to support my body.

I was referred by my family doctor when I was 5 weeks pregnant. This is my first pregnancy so I have no idea what to expect when it comes to routine care. My family doctor is not great at providing care. Weeks went by and I hadn't heard from the OBGYN, and I was starting to worry about the lack of medical care and guidance i was receiving. I shared my concerns that i wasnt recieving the proper care from my family doctor. The receptionist was rude, unsympathetic and refused to speak with me until they were ready to accept my referral. I am now 19 weeks pregnant - half way through my pregnancy and still have not heard from them. Thank God I took matters into my own hands and sought care elsewhere. If I waited on them to get back to me I would have missed many time sensitive tests and ultrasound that are extremely important. I do not recommend this clinic!
