Troy and his team were an absolute pleasure to deal with. Friendly, professional and efficient. During the initial consultation it was clear that Troy is passionate about the work he does, extremely knowledgeable about his craft, and truly cares about sharing his understanding of the trees and shrubs that make our outdoor living environment more beautiful.We had them do some pruning on a Mountain Ash obscuring the front of our house and Troy provided excellent advice on which parts to remove to balance the overall health & aesthetics of the tree with our desire to let more light pass through to the interior of the house. They removed some shrubs which were in poor health as well. The work was completed quickly, on budget, and the work area was left absolutely spotless. They even made a special effort to cut out particular sections of the tree that we wanted to keep for sentimental reasons. Troy kindly answered all my questions about caring for the trees and shrubs in our yard, even the ones that weren't included in the job.We're thrilled to have discovered this wonderful locally-owned company, and look forward to having Aspen Tree Service care for our trees for many years to come. A great experience, and great service. Troy was pleasant to deal with for the entire project. He was professional from our initial first contact. He visited our home when scheduled. Answered all of our questions, and provided some additional advice (which was very insightful).We hired Troy and his team to remove an old Manitoba Maple that was wreaking havoc to our property over the years. The tree was about 14 meters high, and about 10 meters across, with two separate yet significant trunks, and a real eyesore.Regardless, Troy and his team showed up on time (when scheduled), and proceeded to remove the entire tree with careful attention to our surroundings (we have lots of large windows, and concrete). We also had them grind-down the stump afterwards. They also did a great job cleaning up the site afterwards. Long story short, Troy and his team know what they're doing. It's nice dealing with a business owner who is conscientious towards their client's needs and concerns.Troy's team was also professional, respectful, pleasant, and experienced. We have used Aspen Tree Service a few times in the past 6 years to remove trees and stumps. They were professional, courteous and skilled on both occasions. My next door neighbour even commented on how efficient and tidy they were. On his most recent visit, I had asked for some juniper stumps to be ground out but they were very close to the sprinkler line and he did not recommend grinding them out. I was looking at them in dismay, wondering what to do about them when he picked up a shovel and dug them out. Troy is a genuinely nice guy and they provide great service!

This is the second year I have called back Aspen Tree Service.To say they are exceptional and knowledgeable in what they do ... would be an understatement.Trees needed to be pruned on my yard and my neighbours to allow a truck and trailer to go by without scratching the paint. Troy had to come out a few times to provided advice and what would be the best for the trees and the request from myself and the neighbour. Exceptional knowledge of the trees and pruning, professional above and beyond service, and excellent workers are just a few of the super attributes Aspen Tree provides.

We hired Aspen Tree service to cut down a 30' tree in our yard and trim several other large spruce and two apple trees. Troy and his crew arrived on time and got set up right away. They had the tree down within 30 minutes, grinding all branches as they worked. They were kind enough to cut sections of the tree for our neighbours so they could convert to firewood. They did an awesome job of trimming our trees, giving them all a refreshed look and shape. They also cleaned up any debris as if they had never been here. Crew was so friendly and efficient. Highly recommend Aspen Tree Service and wouldn't hesitate to use them again!

We recently had Troy and his crew come and trim two large Manitoba Maples. The quote was accurate and communication with Troy was clear and professional. His crews arrived on time and did a fantastic job. They work efficiently and safely and it’s obvious they are an experienced team. A thorough clean-up of my yard and my neighbors yards was the final step. The trees look much better and are less likely to cause problems. I highly recommend Aspen Tree Service.

I'm extremely happy with the quoting process and the work done. It was fast, simple and straight forward to get a quote which was better than any other ones we received. It was about 2 weeks from there when they completed the work. The work was done fast and professional. They cleaned up the area, stacked wood nicely and not too high where the kids could pull it down. I'd highly recommend using Aspen Tree Service for your needs.

Just had our columnar aspens trimmed and they look amazing! Troy and his crew worked fast, efficient and even trimmed up some of our neighbors trees that were hanging over on our side! Very professional and they work together as a team so well! This is the second time we have hired Troy, (three years ago) and I wouldn't hesitate to get them for your trees. Troy and his crew were great. I spoke with several of his crew and they were knowledgeable and friendly. They were fast, professional and didnt leave a mess behind. Troy was great to deal with. They even dug up plants so as not to run them over with equipment and replanted when they were finished. Highly recommend.
