Parkland School Division - Division Office

If you have registered and not moved everything is all good; my kids took the bus last year. I moved in October and have been desperately trying to change my address for 5 months now. Between unanswered emails, unreturned voicemails and now recent in person encounters they have now reached an all-time low in customer service or client care. After finally touching base over the phone in February, three phone calls later they are still unable to help anyone or tell you anything but generic statements that you can find on the website in order to protect a child's information. I was then told to stop by to deal with the matter in person, given their address, directions and best time of day to stop by. After meeting that same person in the front foyer of their office I was then looked in the eye and told to email her" my new address. What is a person to do when my emails from months ago went unanswered.... repeatedly.THIS SYSTEM NEEDS CHANGED!"

Parkland Transportation has zero communication skills. They gave us the wrong information for a bus route, never contacted us with the correct information, and when I called to inquire (a call that was never returned) they were flippant and unapologetic. My child has been busing for for 5 years and every year it gets worse and worse!

The superintendents are heartless and use bullying and intimidation instead of caring and compassion. Booted my 9 yeah old with severe ADHD out for pulling his mask just below his nose. Told me I can home school. Then took my things and put them in a different city at a place with hours unavailable to out family and refuse to be any help at all. My house is 4 min from the school and I asked them to drop it off like they have done before, but they do not like my family because we don't believe masks work they have gone through this length to make it difficult for us. It has been 3 months at this point and they still have not dropped my stuff off, shipped it to me, or brought it back to the school 4 min from my house. Hundreds of dollars worth of supplies fresh from school start just for my kids to be kicked out and our new stuff taken and put somewhere farther from us that closes before we can get there. The superintendent s at this district are ruthless.

My wife and I work both work full time. I can’t begin to tell you how incredibly disheartening it has been to deal with this myopic department. The staff I’ve dealt with appear to hide behind an impenetrable layer of bureaucracy. They’re unhelpful to the point of being obstructive, and they appear to be completely unaccountable.

The help" when it comes to discussing bus schedules for families that are split is non existent. They treat you with utter disrespect and don't offer you any options. They definitey DO NOT honor divorce agreements and separate addresses for bus pickups."

Brutal service every year. The most disorganized and horrible service anywhere. Unfortunately it is the only option which is why they get away with it year after year.

I attended PSD from grades 8-12. My three children have all been in PSD since kindergarten. Currently they are in grade 9, 10 and the oldest has graduated.My experience has been entirely positive. The school staff are dedicated and truly care about the students.

Cindy Pittman at the front desk is the most unprofessional person I have ever encountered. I won’t get into too much detail but she initially made a mistake which I get.. we are all human. So when I phoned her, she gave me very clear instructions. I followed them, and when I went into the office the following week, she told me a completely different story and advised me to come back. No apology, nothing. She completly wasted so much of my time. I called the following week to see if she had resolved her error and all she did was give conflicting and confusing information. Once again, not doing her job properly. It’s a good thing she’s not in customer service because she’s absolutely horrible at it.

I've had zero problems everyone is so helpful and nice. Sure sometimes things get hectic but so do our lives. Lovely people

My bus driver forgot twice now, within 5 days, she is not fit to drive a bus in any way if she can’t remember why she is there in the first place
