Crazy Creek Hot Pools Resort

Lovely camping area with treed sites that feel private. Full hookups bonus. Lots of playgrounds for the kids. Very nice pool area that is clean and safe with lounge chairs, music.Only drawback for me was that sites are VERY close to the train tracks and trains run every hour overnight. No whistles though!

The staff are friendly kind and helpful. The pools are maintained and clean. We this time had our trailer and yes the trains are right there but the grandson would have it no other way. Thank you for a mini get away that we as a family all enjoyed ❤️

The kids and I had a great time. The unit we stayed in was nice. There was a small playground right outside the kitchen window, which was a great added bonus.Looked like there were bike trails and a few good walking paths for warmer weather. Looking forward to staying again when the weather improves.

Loved our stay at Crazy Creek! Will definitely be back! We stayed in one of the new cabins. It was like a retreat in the woods. The kids loved playing on the playground. We all enjoyed the pools. So much to do and explore!

Very new facilities, clean, staff very friendly. Cabins are new, very deluxe, clean and spacious. There are 3 hot pools fed from crazy creek, very clean and upkept well, also a cold plunge pool. The three pools have a range of temperatures. This is a higher end RV park and cabins but price is competitive. Very happy staying here.

Here’s the facts. Not just my opinion..Trains run constantly (one per hour minimum - 24/7) on one side of the camp. Major highway borders the property on the other side. Zero privacy between trailers /tents. My neighbour is parked 8’ away. His awning almost touches us. Pools are NOT included in camping stay prices (additional $60+ for a family of 5 See their pricing boards for details). Pools are by the “dip” not by the day. If you want to go twice in the same day then you pay twice. $10 per round block of wood. Trailer sites are not level (length or width ways) so make sure you bring some boards to prop up one side of your trailer (my trailer stairs won’t even touch the ground at the back because we had to lower the jack in the front so much to make level). THIS CAMP GROUND CATERS ONLY TO THE CABINS! Not the tent or trailer customers. The write up on their website is deceiving. I don’t think about the “heritage” when the trains go by at 2:00am. We stayed in the new cabin with bunk beds. The cabin is cozy, decorations were beautiful and the kitchen was well equipped. The king side bed was comfortable with lots of pillow. Everything we needed was provided. We had a blast swimming in the warm and hot pools.There's also a trail behind the resort where you can bike or walk and resort guests can access the beach by the river.I highly recommend!

The campsites are still a work in progress but still nice. More shade from trees , like that the outhouse are flushing toilets. More signs might help but not a deal breaker. Added a shower house would be good as of right now only 1 shower for site ( minus hot pools, can use if using pools)Pretty quite overall, I personally didn’t get bugged by the train passing by throughout the day and night

Staying at Crazy Creek was wonderful due to its helpful staff, outdoor beauty, pools, walking paths, suspension bridge, rooms, and each unit having its own fire pit. Saying this, I can't justify a 5 star review solely due to the train noise at night, unfortunately! The trains that pass are extremely close and use their horns because of the nearby crossing. Otherwise, great place and I would recommend to anyone.
