Les Suites Hotel Ottawa

I am a long-term stay as my new apartment was not avalable for 2 months. While it may be listed as a 3 star hotel, I was given 5 star service. The staff is very nice, friendly and will go out of their way to make your stay a good one. They checked in with me every week to see how my stay was going. Also, housekeeping does a fantastic job cleaning my apartment. I also want to thank maintenance who quickly addressed any issues I may have had. Thank you Les Suites, much appreciated.

You get what you pay for. Affordable Byward market stay. Very friendly staff and nice sized rooms but very out of date. Some appliances didn't work, the hot tub has been out of order for 4 months and they didn't have a cot for us. We partied hard and they were cool with it.

I really enjoyed staying at Les Suites Hotel Ottawa. The suite was larger than I thought, so I feel the price is good for what you get. The the place was cleaned and comfortable. Security seemed to be a priority there and I appreciated that. But the best part is the amazing service I got. When I booked the room I didn’t realize I’d have to use my credit card for a 250$ deposit. It wasn’t possible for me and the staff found out an exceptional alternative for me without making me feel bad. This really made me feel like they care about their clients satisfaction. I will go again the next time I travel to Ottawa for sure. Thank you!

Great location for walking, attractions, near parliament hill and lots of shops and restaurants as well as the subway train system. seemed super secure and safe, you need key cards to get in through any exterior door which is nice. nice cafe downstairs. only thing is rooms need an update

Stayed with my family on family day weekend, and we chose this hotel instead of the Business Inn because of the pool. Unfortunately, the pool is not heated and freezing. We were in there for a very short amount of time. It would have been nice to use the hot tub, but apparently, that has been out of order for some time and no plans to get it repaired. The hotel was nice and the suite we had was very nice and spacious. The underground parking lot has very low ceilings. Its location is very close to the byward market and the parliament buildings, so we were able to walk everywhere.

Very conveniently located, close to lots of iconic places, restos, shopping centres, etc. This also means lots of sketchy people around but we felt safe. You need your card key to actually enter the hotel so that adds a safety layer.Had breakfast at the little cafe in the lobby and while it was not great, it was ok. Service there was not good either but I think it was a language and culture barrier.Rooms are comfy, equiped w a full kitchen, fridge, microwave etc that we did not need to use except to makr some tea. It also has a coffee maker. Rooms were clean and so was the bathroom with enough toiletries. The bed sheets were a bit hard" but we had a good night sleep after a long driveSome noise comes from the street but nothing crazy and we were tiredService was good and check in was easy. Parking is around the corner and you get a discount"

Excellent stay at the hotel this week. The location is perfect for both business and hollidays trip, close to shaw center, By market, canal rideau, parlement .I have been upgraded to a larger room because the original one were fullThe parking is communicated directly with the hotel.I had to leave the hotel 1 Day earlier and they only charged me for late check out.Then i forgot something in my room and the housekeeping service was very kind and helpfull to get it back to me at home only 2 days after. Their service is really good.I will definitively come back.

Beware: paid for room before arrival and dissapointed by downgrade to a room with less square footage, no balcony, and no kitchenette, and that they did not uphold booking with Expedia for the room I paid for and booked in advance. I saved my points for a long time to pay for this room. There was also no parking available even after calling 30-40 mins before arrival and confirming. No big deal just annoying that no one told us when we called a head. Hot tub was broken and it was one of the main reasons we booked here. No one at front desk informed us on arrival. This was not clear on Expedia either as they advertize the hottub in photos they did not take down. Over all, bad first experience and front desk was chaotic. They did not reimburse me for the downgraded room... They did give us a skimpy breakfast coupon and a late check-out which did not make up for the bad organization, but at that point it was too late and frustrating to change to another hotel last minute. Poor service and bad communication on hotel part with their third party booking services... book at your own risk, they are so central that maybe they don't care.
