Durand Coffee
Best cafe in the city. The staff are super friendly (especially Tyra!), the coffee is consistent and tasty, they're really creative with their seasonal drinks, and their beer fridge is the best in the province, hands down. Chris (owner) is a kind dude who really knows coffee, beer and wine, and physically drives to the best breweries in the province every week to make sure they have the newest releases. I love it, I'm there 3-4 times a week at least.

Durand Coffee
It's a great coffee shop with a warm and inviting atmosphere. It's exactly the type of place you are looking for when moving into an urban neighborhood. The only downside is it's size as it's relatively small with little seating for it's popularity.The coffee is difficult to judge as it's quite subjective based on individual taste. For myself they do know how to make a good Cortado which has just the right balance.The pastries however are absolutely top notch. I particularly recommend the Almond Croissants. Delicious.

Coffee is amazing! Probably one of my favorite mochas in the city. Their selection of beans to purchase is high quality, reputable, and affordable.Super friendly atmosphere with wifi so good spot to grab a coffee and work, but picnic tables outside also make a nice spot to just relax.Solid selection for the bottle shop as well!

Really amazing savoury scones. Coffee was dialled in perfectly. Vibrant and homely spot.Make sure to get in before 4PM as the coffee machines get put to bed for the night. Beer and wine is available after.Wish we had known, should have checked Google instead of Yelp, no biggie just hope itll save someone a parking pass.

After not having much luck with small businesses and chai lattes, I tried Durand's iced chai latte with lactose free milk, and I can definitely say I'd recommend it!It's not spicey at all, but it is sweet (but not too sweet) and milky, I really liked the cinnamon flavoring.I only have a couple of complaints, those being; it was very hot inside, it was a hot day in general but I honestly feel like if they propped the door open, it would've helped a ton. It is mildly expensive, and because of that, I sort of expected their lids to be better. I found that whenever I'd take a drink, there would be liquid getting trapped between the lid and the cup itself, eventually leaking out onto my hand. I had to wrap a napkin around the cup so my hands wouldn't stay sticky.But regardless, I'd for sure go back. (Hoping next time they'll have almond milk as an option!)

Absolutely a good spot for a mid morning or afternoon snack for a warm/cold beverage and pastries to feed your soul. Nice and quiet neighborhood to sit out and enjoy your coffee.
