Midtown Medical Clinic

Been going to see Dr. Chung for 8 years now. She is a great doctor. Takes her time when she sees you and is very thorough. Liked when she was at Bloor Medical clinic then the new clinic Midtown Medical. The office is not the greatest at responding back to you through email or on the phone.

I don`t post reviews often, but whoever that lady taking calls is, the receptionist, she seems to be disturbed and angry all the time. Called the office a couple of times, gave me an attitude each time and haven`t even got the chance to speak. Like what`s wrong with you for heaven`s sake, relax.

My friend recommended to Dr.Fomina at first but she was not taking new patients and the office suggest Dr.Chung and I am super happy with this choice! She has been so far the best doctors I have encountered. She is kind and understanding and listens to you and you never feel rushed during your appointments. To feel heard and listened to by your doctor is so important and she's just awesome! The front staff don't necessarily have the most friendliest tone but to be honest, I've never encountered a medical clinic with friendly front staff and it's COVID to top it all off so they are probably just overwhelmed, so I don't take it personal. They are helpful with booking you in for same day consults if you are feeling unwell which is amazing! Would definitely recommend this clinic and Dr.Chung!

I have been going to this clinic for years. Have seen more than one of the doctors. Very busy clinic. Always accommodating. Front staff are wonderful.

I feel that the front desk officers and the overall policies in this place are money-driven and do not care about the patients: they are unfriendly/inpatient to patients and overcharge for many things (even some basic records need a fee. Many ridiculous charges) and is very very slow to respond to the need of the patients: I have waited for 3+ weeks or even months for very basic inquires and appointments; I would just go to walk-in clinic or the emergency room. I am very disappointed and do not recommend.

Called this morning to inquire about new patients as a posting was made via Facebook and online for Dr.Marina to be taking new patients. I was greeted by a very rude woman, she said that’s not true and they do not take new clients. I asked why there is postings outside their office saying “new patients welcome, call to book appointment”. I was told that is untrue and continued to be treated very rudely with no explanation of the posting or signs. She said they have not been accepting patients for a long time. Some care and consideration should be used when speaking to others. Now I will never inquire here again even though I’ve heard amazing things about dr. Marina because the front desk staffs behavior and tone and attitude are sad and disgusting as well as unhelpful and blamative.

My experience is a hit or miss My doctor was very accommodating and kind. She did mess up my sons vaccine records as she forgot if she put them in her computer or not. Then I mentioned my concerns about my sons eating. She said to me I don’t seem like a weird person but ok I will write you a referral. She said she had never heard of someone to help a child with their eating. I would hope my family doctor would be able to suggest a dietician as I had no knowledge of them at that time. Finally a speech pathologist was able to help refer my child to a dietitian. So not the best place and I will forever remember her unkind words.

Horrible horrible clinic! The administrative staff are very rude and confrontational even when you have valid concerns. They either, or the doctors it’s hard to be sure, allow for far too much overbooking because the wait times for booked appointments are insane! Longer than a walk-in clinic. Today, someone who was booked for an appt 20 minutes before me, showed up 20 min late, checked in AFTER me, and was sent into the doctor ahead of me. That was the final straw. This was after many booked in advance appts where I waited over an hour! When I confronted the admin staff they were disgustingly rude. In fact, my brief stay (cause I would rather go to walk in clinics from this point forward as they are faster) with this doctor and clinic was thoroughly disturbing as I feel quite certain it has a strong bias against any non-Portuguese patients. If you aren’t Portuguese do not even consider going here. You will be treated like a second class citizen.

I am a patient of Dr. Fomina-Nazarova and the care I have had from her and the staff at this clinic has been fantastic, I feel very well cared for whenever I come in and never judged. Highly recommended.

Worst receptionist everytime I call they always put me on hold and never get back even though i waited for more than 20 minutes for somebody to get back on the phone
