Having attended an 8 week preparatory class in Samba, many of us with nearly no experience, we performed as a group in the Salmon Festival Parade in Steveston, BC on Canada Day, 2012. Those 8 weeks with Milton and Mayumi at Groove Masters was work (hardly!), informative, but more importantly - FUN! Our group ranged in age from teenagers to those in their 70's. Need an amazing day - spend it at Groove Masters, in a workshop". You won't want the day to end!!"

Groove Masters Percussion Vancouver Drum and Djembe Store
I highly recommend Groove Masters - Empire Music. I visited with my family to buy my first Djembe: we spent a full hour there, receiving great advice, trying many drums of different styles and sizes, at different price points, until finding the best fit and preferred sound. We also explored the selection of xylophones for our kids. Overall this was a great experience, we felt well advised and not hurried, and I love the Djembe I got!

Great products and great prices! And excellent customer service. Needed a djembe bag and the price was great compared to other stores! Lots of cool percussion instruments at this store some of which they design themselves and sound great!
