An impromptu pit stop on our road trip— an absolute delight! Squeaky clean inviting place. Yummilicious pies! A must stop.. There’s something for everyone.. Petting zoo, fresh pie, apple cider, a photo opportunity ../ Take your pick

Nice place to buy apple pies and lot of delicacy. We bought Sparkling Apple cider, crullers and turnovers. I love the turnovers and apple cider. Both are delicious. There is a nice open view of the staff preparing Apple pies. Awesome. Lot of attractions around the park with a big Apple smiley, farmers market with fresh natural goods, rides for children, fish and chips, souvenir shops etc. Best place to stop and relax on 401 highway.

Seems quite popular and to a large extent for a reason. Got the apple bread (not their mumble crumble bread but their original one), the apple tart and the apple crumble pie.Not sure how these breads are supposed to be but I expect the flavour, the stuff, the sweetness to be throughout the bread but it’s not - definitely not. The bread is tough too. But this is not the only place which serves such fruit breads of similar quality, taste and texture. Makes me wonder if I am the one who needs to understand it better and acquire a taste for it.The apple tart was good - a pack of four cost around $9 (incl taxes) and it was worth it. One could taste the freshness of the filling including the apples. The apple crumble pie was good too - the crust was crispy and and lightly sweet, the filling was dense and sweet and, nice and “apple-y”. A small size pie (600g) cost around another $9, which made more sense for us than a single slice for $5.25.Would recommend visiting the place and we could also try some other stuff from there if we ever pass by.

The place is great for stop while traveling, it is overpriced for most of the products. Yet, I would suggest this place for what it has to offer. Would be a great visit in the summer, not that much in the winter. They have a lot of products that are focused on apple and freshly prepared on site. It's a worth a one time visit.Ample car parking is available, I do. Suggest hot apple cider and chorizo during the winters.

Great place to stop by on a road trip! Though most know for their apple pies, they sell such a wide variety of items ranging from merchandise to proper dinner items. I love their poutine and curly fries. They apparently sell turkey legs as well which I was excited about but it wasn’t open when we visited. They also sell incredibly desserts like Beavertails, ice cream and donuts. I also love their apple caramel cheesecake! So great to bring home and put in the freezer. They also make a great apple crisp.

My family stops here every single time we go to Ottawa.. best place ever to take a break! I love the candy store, it was a great place to take my nephew and also brought out our inner child seeing all our childhood candy. The petting zoo is also fantastic. Good variety of shot glasses for collectors. They also have a nice sign with all the distances on it — really cool. The main store has apple and cheese sausages - it’s a family favourite.

A Family Icon Road Attraction In The Whole of OntarioThis is an overdue review since the time I discovered this road attraction way back in the early 1990's. I seldom visited it until our of curiosity we began to visit more often with the entire family in the 2000's until just last month. Some say this place is a tourist trap, or that the merchandise and food are over-priced. We had had our share of bad and good experiences. No matter what we still do love coming here every time we travel back and forth between Ottawa and Toronto. The attraction has been expanding (i.e. the petting zoo located on the west-end is now bigger). Occasionally we do end up grabbing something to eat but mostly we just browse around. When our kids were smaller they loved climbing inside of the structure. Even as adults they still do love coming here for the fond memories (see photos). This place will always be in our hearts.

I was told to go here to pick up a great pie. Well...I was not expecting everything there! A beautiful store with crafts/syrups/wines/candies - and a restaurant. There is also a viewing area where you can watch them making the pies - so many pies!!Definitely worth the stop!
