The lady at the front desk was soooo nice. Part of me wanted to stay later just to talk to her. The art was absolutely astonishing, and admission was free! It was my first time in Saint John, and I hope to be back soon.

The staff was super friendly. The art was great but I might be biased because I have textiles work on display at the moment along with some friends work. The only downside was a power outage cut the visite short but that affected all of uptown.

Saint John Arts Centre
My favourite building in the City. It used to be the Carnegie library when I was a kid and I spent hours there. Now, it is an arts centre extraordinaire, with classes for all the mediums being taught in the basement studios and interesting exhibits of local artists on the floors above. A must see when you visit the City.

Small but nice gallery. Entrance is free, donations are accepted. There are 5 galleries and they change six times per year, so repeat visits don't get too boring. The gallery showcases local artists, and the art classes are great.
