Salvaged on Mill St.

To the first reviewer: the website stopped being used a long time ago, from what I've seen, apparently due to security issues. The Facebook page is where you need to go for updates.On that note; I'd like to preface the following review by saying I haven't been to a lot of antique shops. There aren't very many in areas which I usually frequent. However, with that being said, this is one of the nicest antique shops I've been in.Nestled amongst the vibrantly Victorian village of Manotick, this store is within perfect walking distance of the village square and fits right in among the active historical sites such as Watson's Mill and Dickinson House which keep the Victorian era of our nation's history alive and showcase period dressed historical interpreters throughout the active season.The woman who owns the shop, along with her friend who co-owns it, are some of the nicest people I've met and some of my favourite people to talk with in Manotick. I always want to stay a little longer, both to see more, and to chat more. I always feel welcome; she is always happy to see me even if I don't always buy anything, and if I'm looking for something in particular that she doesn't have at the moment, she is very helpful about getting it into the store for me when I email her about it.I just wish I could visit more often. Not only does the shop salvage" on Mill St; it *adorns* Mill St."
