White Rock Return-It Depot

Hard working and friendly staff and got my bottles refunded quick without error. Not to mention this depot is much cleaner than other depots, which is great itself but even better because other depots do not seem to care too much about cleanliness. I also choose to come here rather than the other depots closer to where I live. Definitely worth it.

Friendly and helpful staff, and clean environment. They also accept electronics that are qualified for recycling but not styrofoam, yet. Parking spots are limited so it would be prudent to come early or use Google Maps to see the best off peak times to return your recyclables.

This is the best Return It I have been to. Sometimes you even get help taking things out of your car. You can get in and out really fast. I use the Express return (using the labels) so I don't have to sort. They do that and credit my account. The first time I did this it took 6 days to see the credit which seems a bit long to be (and hence the 4 star)

Very friendly staff, but....Recently went to this location and asked about their express return-it program, as I had heard about it on the radio. I mentioned to staff that I had heard that 5 cent refunds were now 10 cents, and it was now worthwhile to return cans and plastic bottles, as opposed to discarding in blue bins. I asked if the program discounted the return value and a man there said “no”. I asked again (to confirm) if they refunded the full amount, and the man there said “yes”. A young family member had decided to collect aluminum cans, plastic bottles and containers (no breakables) to earn bus fair and spending money. So the next day we brought in 5 bags. Anxious about his new source of income, we checked the account today to see if the returns had been processed, and they had....but not at full value. The credit had been discounted. Very disheartening for a young student. Disappointed and unhappy that I have been given false information. I spoke with 2 other customers there on the day I went in to inquire about the return pricing, and asked them how it was working, and both said they were new at it, but because of the increase in the refunds, they were returning their recyclable cans and plastic bottles, as opposed to just tossing them into the blue bins. I’m sure they will be surprised and disappointed as I was. I will not go back to this location.

Outside is very unique, hard to tell they are there. Very friendly staff helped me get my bottles done quicker as I had lots. Really appreciate them. Hope to go back to this location in a few months. Very few parking spots not busy at all. Covid 19 protocols in place.

I have been returning my empty cans bottles ect for 2 years now and every time a credit has been short by 10 dollars or more. I use express return and count then before hand. Three times I called corporate to reimburse me what I was short. I believe thay are shady workers .

I recently moved to the area and it was my first time at this depot. It was Friday morning, and the older Korean gentlemen that did not speak much English but was still pleasant to deal with, however the younger gentlemen was extremely rude. I had 4 creamer cartons that the other depot (same franchise) happily took and had a designated container I could throw them in. When I asked him if I they had somewhere I could toss them he told me ‘no, you can take them back home with you’ in very rude manners. I later asked the older gentleman when the rude one was in the back and he happily took them. The man has no social skills let alone knows how to crack a smile and should not even be speaking with customers. He’s probably the same moron that responds by arguing with any customer that leaves a negative review. I will never come back to this location and I’d advise others to do the same.

Not even worth a one star! Guy miscounted returns for bottles on a re-count. Raised his voice at me and told me I was not welcome here. I am aboriginal and our people have had enough of immigrants who carry diseases from other places come here and tell us we are not welcome. If you don't like Canada or true Canadians, then leave...No one forces or asks you to come here and be disrespectful to us. You are the one who is not welcome!

The place is generally clean and the staff are friendly but I'm having issues with the express refunds. The last bag I dropped off did not list any of the pop cans in the bag. For an extra large bag that was 3 feet tall and filled to the top, I got $6.05. Probably half of what it was worth

THE BEST PEOPLE!! WITH SMILES!!Extremely helpful both physically and by being kind re. assisting with procedure and order.Diligent to keep the depot organized, cleanand aired; checking the parking area for litterand rejected items customers dump!A pleasant experience in doing the right thing.
