Tommy Thompson Park Floating Bridge
A great view. I dragged the family out here after parking at Tommy Thompson Park. Be ready for quite the walk. I think my family would have preferred renting bicycles. About 3.2 kilometers from the parking lot. I didn't get to the lighthouse I wanted to see, it would have been 5km each way. I enjoyed it with the nice views of the lake and skyline, as well as the peaceful surroundings so close to the city.

Serene and beautiful view of downtown. It is a great place for hiking or biking full of nature so close to downtown Toronto.

Nice place to ride a bike or walk around! Personally, I think it will be really pretty in autumn as there are lots of plants and flowers on the sideways. You can borrow a bike which is limited to 30 minutes per ride. Be aware that whatever plan you choose(1day, 3days..so on) you have to come back every 30 minutes or otherwise you will have to pay additional fee!

Pretty cool park south of the Lakeshore path. Very nice bike ride; if you have the right equipment. Can get a little chilly down there so make sure you have a windbreaker. Awesome views of the city!!

I love this place! It is so beautiful, big and full of a variety of scenery you can enjoy while taking a walk around. It also makes for great family photo sessions! There are gorgeous lakes and the skyline of Toronto Downtown, and the views from the small bridge around them are truly breathtaking!

Great place to walk or bike to. Go during sunset to capture some great city colors and lake views. This place is particularly special during the bird migration season in early spring and late fall. If you are into photography or bird-watching , you are in for a treat! Even otherwise, it is a great place for a small hike, jog or bike ride.

I don’t want to give a negative review to a floating bridge, but when I was here on October 27th it was chained off and not connected in the middle so you couldn’t cross and go to the lighthouse. Still, solid sunset and I saw some nice geese. Three stars.

Beautiful place for the bird watching and sexy Toronto skyline. Do visit in d sunset ya sunrise timing in order to experience best skyline colours and great photography frames.

Amazing park to go bike or run. It’s a long path, it’s quiet and the view is breathtaking; one side with the lake that looks like the ocean and on the other side the city landscape. And all you hear is the hundreds of birds flying and singing. Wow! For those who will visit soon the floating bridge is close but you can reach the lighthouse by taking the other longer path. Definitely worth it! Plan to bring water and use the public restroom near the gate.
