Ashley at AC Tutoring had a significant impact on my work ethic, the ability to study independently, and my aptitude for learning overall. She truly cares about the success and positive growth of her students and does an excellent job at creating a flexible and personal plan. As a student here I learned to drastically improve my essay writing skills and Ashley always had the patience and professionalism which overall increased my final high school marks. I know that the skills that I have learned and honed here at AC Tutoring will continue to benefit me greatly throughout my entire life, particularly during my studies at Ryerson University for mechanical engineering.

Over the course of many years, I could think of many skills and interests I have built with Ashley at AC Tutoring and it has really helped me to improve my academic ability. She is able to assure my perception and assist me to overcome challenges. She is very passionate and understanding which helps cater to my understanding. Her cheerful attitude and professionalism have not only boosted my grades, but boosted my overall attitude and motivation towards learning. At AC Tutoring, Ashley uses the best approach for each student, so they are easily able to understand all the concepts. Overall, I highly recommend, and I couldn't be happier with my experience.

Ashley at AC Tutoring really helped me perfect my analysis, organization and flow of the commentaries and essays I’ve written. The exercises and books we’ve done and read together built up my understanding and appreciation for the authors’ literary choices and perspectives of the world. Although I often have trouble untangling my thought processes and describing the vision I want to portray, Ashley was very encouraging and patient with helping me clarify my thoughts so that I can form a coherent perspective of the work I’m to analyze. Not only did I achieve stellar marks after meeting Ashley, I have also come to love the artistry and meaning in the works I read.

My experience with Ashley has been incredible. In the six years that Ashley has worked with me, my writing has improved significantly and my love for english has blossomed tremendously. At each tutoring session, Ashley passes on her extensive and unique knowledge on various areas of writing such as grammar, sentence structure, and style. Ashley at AC tutoring helped me to grow to the person I am today. Paragraph writing and grammar was not my strong suit at school; however Ashley guided me along the way to success. She taught me variations of writing styles and techniques. We covered essay writing, poetry analysis, and grammar skills. This is the year I had an opportunity to enter the IB program. And it turns out, thanks to her, I entered with great success! All in all, Ashley at AC tutoring helped me to improve my confidence drastically for the past years.

Ashley has really helped me improve my English over the past years through reading stories, writing essays, and communicating. In addition, she's helped me understand a lot of complicated philosophical concepts such as freedom and happiness which allowed me to make better decisions in life.

I've studied here for a little over 4 years now, and the teaching has always been exceptional. Not only have I been able to request aid for schoolwork such as essays and upcoming tests, but a lot of time was also spent developing critical thinking skills, creative praxis, and my own writing style. Time and time again, I always looked forward to our weekly lesson as Ashley always brought something fun to work on. For schoolwork, she has always been extremely diligent in trying to aid in the best way possible. Whether it be Shakespeare, a novel study—she is even willing to read through a novel to help prepare, or a unit of grammar, her aid has been instrumental in teaching me as much about the English language as possible. Although I formally signed up for English lessons, Ashley was still able to help me with French projects when I needed the help, and even a little with Latin and German. Still, above all, she has been extremely encouraging and I've always felt relaxed and ready to learn. Walking into post-secondary, I feel more prepared than I ever could thanks to Ashley's help.
